Lovely boutique hotel, my second stay there. As a solo traveller I appreciate this kind of hotel, lovely rooms, excellent food and very friendly atmosphere - and had a fabulous neck and shoulder massage Will be back again next year

We cried when we left (in a good way). The game drives provided as part of the stay were out of this world. So amazing. The perfect way to celebrate my daughter’s 21st. The management were super helpful and bent over backwards for my two kids who both have special needs. Would definitely go again but I don’t think my bank balance would cope! Once in a lifetime trip. October was the perfect month to visit. Rangers highly knowledgeable and you get allocated the same one each game drive so you can build a relationship with them. You won’t regret it if you book with Shepherds Tree x

What an amazing experience. The lodge is beautiful-including great upgrades such as an infinity pool and wellness spa all nestled in a picture perfect bushveld setting. Every single member of staff were incredible. They were so friendly and helpful, always wanting to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We thank them for all that they did for us. And special thanks to Dolfi our guide who took us around the reserve on our game drives. His energy and passion made every second special. Not only did we see such amazing animals, but Dolfi also took time to share in the conservation efforts and the spectacular plants and wildlife. His knowledge is fascinating and compassion for his guests and ensuring their enjoyment was refreshing. Thank you Black Rhino Lodge!
