So much black mold in the bathroom and shower. Didn’t get check in instructions until a couple hours before check in which caused me to spend so much time with customer support just in case. No way to alter the AC

The place itself was good, a central location too, but the communication and service the host provided was extremely poor. When we arrived to Lisbon, we realized there had been no check in instructions, and when we tried messaging the host it took quite some time to respond, leaving us stranded past the check in time which we had planned for. A staff member let us in and gave us the keys, and then I messaged the host about providing the wifi information, as that was part of the listing. I messaged again, following up on that, but it never got answered. On our second last day, I messaged once more about the check out instructions, but got no answer. The Vrbo standard says that the check in/out instructions are to be provided at least 72 hours before the check in date through an email, and I never received any emails throughout the whole process. Even when we were checking out, we didn’t know where to leave the keys or towels etc. Overall, the place was alright, but due to the communication issues with the host, I would not recommend this experience.
