"This was a nice, relaxing and quiet stay for us on our road trip around the coastline of Ireland. The location in the countryside was nice and peaceful, but also close to town. We enjoyed the cozy fire room for a family game night while there. We’d highly recommend this place!"

"Wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious with large portions. Room was very comfortable. I just have to say, they have great hair dryers. The staff was very informative and gave me great ideas for a day trip with restaurant recommendations. And easy walking from Gus O’Connors pub and the Cliff walk. Loved my stay here. "

"The staff at The Old Ground Hotel were simply amazing. The most wonderful hospitality was granted to us and it stands out in my experience across any hotel I’ve stayed in, in a long time. In fact I picked The Old Ground as I had stayed here for a family reunion exactly ten years ago. We arrived late and then could not drive through Ennis due to diversions. The desk staff not only guided us in through the town to their car park in real time, but managed to get us a very last minute and late evening table for 4 in their bistro, accommodating a tired and hungry family who were making a pit stop before flying from SNN the next am. The team made check in easy. Made sure we got all we needed at dinner including off menu options and then made sure we got checked in and up to our rooms. Similarly the next morning, a delicious breakfast, warm greetings and wonderful service! Outstanding staff and experience. We can’t stop talking about it. Thank you. "
