Staff were wonderful, so helpful & attentive. The room was very clean and well appointed, beds were very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. We did have some issues every night with the air con automatically switching to a temperature that was too warm. The lack of the provision of any cold drinking water in the room was a bit of an issue however, we didn't have time to ask housekeeping about this. I'm sure they would have addressed this for us if we'd raised it with them.

This hotel is quite lovely in pretty much every way. The lift has been tastefully modified yet keeps its look to go with the history. Absolutely loved to be able to sit out in the open air whether it be for a coffee or single malt scotch.

The main problem was when you check in the hotel will only accept your credit card in payment rather than your debit card which means if from overdras you incur currency convesion charges so pay in advance. I had issues with the curtains and Foxtel that the staff resolved quickly and efficiently. Centrally located in Brisbane so a good base to explore from.

A delightful blend of a new and modern hotel with an old traditional Queenslander house. The staff are fantastic and you are an easy walk to the very active New Farm riverside area.
