"I really enjoyed my stay here! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The house was very clean, the garden was well maintained, and all the facilities were perfect — everything worked just as expected. The only minor downside was that there was some construction going on nearby, so the mornings started a bit early with hammering sounds. But overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this place!"

"Ein sehr schönes Haus, sauber und gepflegt. Alles da was man braucht, Grill, gute Küchenausstattung, großer Kühlschrank. Wer sich selbst bekochen will, muss allerdings alles, auch Salz und Pfeffer, vor Ort besorgen. Von allen Zimmern, Küche und Wohnbereich ein toller Blick auf das Meer. Die Autobahn ist zwar in Sichtweite, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die Lage ist zentral, 10 min bis zum Supermarkt und 20 min. bis in die Innenstadt von Funchal. "We're really pleased with our 2 night stay at Enotel. We had a sea view room with a balcony and we highly recommend it. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings taking in the sunset and the sound of the rolling waves. One night the sunset was a spectacular display of orange, pink, and blue! The room itself was clean and spacious. We found the beds and pillows to be very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure in the shower was great. Check-in and check-out were easy and the underground parking is extremely helpful as the beach-front street is paid parking and fills up quickly. The parking garage is tight but manageable, especially with a smaller car. One evening we made use of the pool, sauna, and imam. It was great to have these on site to relax following an afternoon of hiking. In sum, we'd definitely stay here again!"

"Socalco is a truly gorgeous accommodation for a unique stay in Calheta. The entire property is beautiful, lined with gardens growing grapes, herbs, and vegetables under the scenery of a Madeiran coastal hill. Every corner of Socalco is tastefully decorated and the rooms have a clean and modern aesthetic that exudes comfort. The rooms boast views over the coast and breakfast is a true highlight, enjoyed on the terrace with a view over Calheta beach. Breakfast is also thoughtfully curated, with meats, cheeses, fruits, tea, coffee, and a cooked egg breakfast, all of exceptional quality. We were so pleased to stay here and we will absolutely return if we are back in Madeira. Treat yourself to even a few nights here, it's absolutely worth it!"

"Lovely time spent here. 4 nights. Super friendly staff. Very easy-going vibe. Rooms were quite small and did not have AC but were clean and simple enough. Overall very happy with the hotel and the small “parish” Jardim do Mar. super cute little town. Takes 15 mins to walk around the whole village. "

Breakfast was good Don't go to the Mediterranean Japanese restaurant for food (i didn't have the burger which was recommended by the front desk) but we ordered 5 things and they were gross and I'm not that picky.
