Wow what a transformation from when I was in my 20’s!! As a GenX professional traveller I love to write reviews and I have to say that this hotel is one of my best stays when it comes to value for money, location and accomodation. I booked a deluxe single as attending an event at the Savoy, so it’s ideal and highly recommended indeed from size and price, with a modern and spacious bathroom.

On arriving early at the hotel for an overdue birthday celebration with my Mum, we were greeted by really friendly reception staff. We were able to leave our bags until we could get into our room, and our room was upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. When we eventually got into our room it was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The complimentary mini bar, chocolate, biscuits and reusable red water bottles were a thoughtful touch. A nice souvenir. There was a large choice at breakfast and the surroundings were stylish. I enjoyed it so much I have booked a weekend stay with my husband when we go to Wimbledon, due to the good transport connections.

Great location, with loads of restaurants and transportation options walking distance. Staff is very friendly and check in and checkout went smoothly. Breakfast was just average with some spoiled fruits. I would consider staying again, but will find alternatives for breakfast.

My second time staying at the Strand Palace hotel and it was just as great as the first time! Everyone at the Strand Palace are very friendly and accommodating, location is great too in Convent Garden close to everything and accessible via the underground from the airport. Facilities were clean both times, would highly recommend if ever you’re in London!

Elevators slow and only 3 for like 299 rooms. Front desk Rude. Bar staff excellent. Front door man great. Concierge not knowledgeable and frequently unavailable. Prices ridiculous for the room. Wish so much I’d booked in a different hotel

Had a really lovely stay at the Strand Palace. We recieved a free upgrade to a King size double room. The hotel was reasonably quiet and the food was great, a huge selection was available for breakfast. The only slight criticism is that the cold water tap in the ensuite bathroom kept running hot. Don't know what was wrong with the plumbing, but it wasn't very convenient to brushing your teeth!

Great location for where we needed to be and lovely hotel. Bed was a little hard so we didn’t have the best sleep during our 2 night stay. The room and hotel was very clean and well kept, most of the staff were friendly except the tall balding guy in the Gin bar, he was very unprofessional and rude, not only to us but to other guests. I would however still recommend this hotel ☺️

We had a lovely stay in this excellently situated hotel, perfectly positioned for the West End, Covent Garden and several Tube stations within a short walk. Staff were exceptionally helpful and very polite and accommodating.I would highly recommend it.

We Stayed for our anniversary,We had excellent service, we arrived 3 hours before check in and asked if we could leave our bags, whilst we had a wander about London. The receptionist, said I will just check to see if your room is ready, it was and we were able to check in straight away. We were also given a drinks voucher each as an anniversary gift, which was a nice touch. They also stored our bags on check out , so that we could go off to do some more exploring around London. The hotel was very clean, we had a superior room, yes they are compact but that doesn't worry us, as we are out and about most of the time. There are many attractions within walking distance or just a tube/bus ride away. All in all we would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Despite how busy the Strand and the area is in general, my room was very quiet. It's a great location, right in the heart of everything, especially if you are a theatre goer. I had a cozy single and it was tiny but perfectly fine for a solo traveller.

We had a very very very small double room. Bed against wall on one side hardly any spare room at all. Breakfast very ordinary hard fried eggs and nasty bread. Muesli was very sweet altogether not worth the cost
