The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. There was a bit too much furniture in the room, so the door hit the table every time we opened it and a chair was in the closet area, which was strange. Nice mid-sized refrigerator and small microwave in the room, good hotel breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt and bagels included. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice. The sign said the hot tub was not available. Overall a fine, affordable stay with short drive to the Botanical Gardens and Boothbay Harbor. We would stay again.

The location and view of this property was excellent. The staff gave good dining recommendations. The fire pit at night with s’mores was nice. We were given a nice bouquet of flowers at time of check in. The morning breakfast was a bit different. The kitchen was stocked with eggs, cream cheese, yogurt and condiments and pastries. You were responsible to make your own breakfast in the kitchen.

Newagen is an older property, but is maintained beautifully. It’s in a gorgeous location with a great restaurant and a delicious included breakfast. Great staff. Very clean and very comfortable. Great ocean views!! I highly recommend the beautiful Maine seaside inn in the Boothbay area.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the cabin was! I read the positive reviews and felt comfortable staying there but didn’t realize how spacious and homey the cabin would feel! The beds were super comfortable, having a washer and dryer in the cabin was a pleasant surprise, and the quietness of the entire resort area was fantastic. Super spread out. Renting canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards was really easy. The cabin got a little warm during the day but the three box fans were a big help.

This is a beautiful, five star in with beautiful views, impeccable rooms, and wonderful service. Morning breakfast was also wonderful.
