great host, great house
this is a beautifully renovated home convenient to town and the highways to surround areas. Super close to the airport. 4 old friends shared the space for four nights and we each at our own room there's plenty of space to unpack. 2 1/2 bath was just right for us...no bumping into each other, day or night. Very comfortable beds, ridiculously large, modern near – commercial quality kitchen. The two large sitting areas each have a TV and lots of comfortable seating. bedrooms all have TVs as well. Nice front porch for sitting and reading; big backyard with a fire pit, ample seating, and space. Last but not least, there's a reason Matt and Melissa are super host. Before, during and after our stay they were accommodating, and communication was nearly instantaneous. thanks for sharing!

Great House to Experience Louisville
My family and I loved staying at this property. Owners were super responsive and helpful. 7 of us came for a trip to experience Louisville, Churchill Downs, and all of the surrounding distilleries. Awesome location to do everything we wanted to do. The house itself is extremely clean, well-kept and has all the amenities you need. We ended up spending more time at the property than we expected because it was that comfortable. We hope to come back to this property in the future, and thanks to the owners for an amazing stay!

Everything was great! The furniture was comfortable and the linens smelled clean. The host was great and communication couldn’t have been better. The check out process was super easy and they had fresh baked cookies for us at check in. Would definitely stay here again!

I cannot say enough good things about this house! The design, the location, the property owner’s hospitality…it has it all. We stayed here to visit Louisville for a few days and travel to the Ark Encounter for a day. Matt was more than helpful with questions about the surrounding area, restaurants, and things to do. If we ever make it to the Derby, this is where we will stay. Don’t hesitate to book!

Quick family trip to Bourbon Trail
This house worked great for my husband, our three grown children and me. The bedrooms were spacious, and there was plenty of room in the house to spread out. Kitchen very well equipped and nice appliances. Lots of special little touches, such as cut flowers around the house, fresh coffee and cookies for our arrival, nice products (e.g., toilet paper, toiletries). Nice backyard with fire pit, but we didn't use it. Everywhere we wanted to go was about 10 minutes away, so do need a car/transporation service. However, it was easy to get places and an Uber was never more than about 10 minutes away. Street parking was easy, and there is also a parking pad at the back of the lot we could have used. Very nice stay! Would highly recommend.

This home was soooo beautiful. My family agreed that we want to book this home every time we come to Louisville. It really looks just like the pictures but even better in person. This was spacious enough for everyone. We even utilized the air mattresses. The fire pit is nice I wish we would have done a bonfire.

Truly gorgeous house
This house has all the modern amenities you would expect and is beautifully appointed. The bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. Matt is very responsive and accommodating! We were 4 work colleagues staying together for a tradeshow and this house met all our needs. The yard is very private with a charming firepit. We enjoyed our stay immensely and plan on rebooking this house for our tradeshow next year! Thanks Matt!

We had 4 couples together for a weekend getaway to attend Keeneland and do the Bourbon Trail. And we had the opportunity to have the Arts fair at the same time. House is very nice, kitchen well stocked, fire pit was perfect at night. The two TVs were great to watch two different games. Loved it!!

Convenient, spacious, well updated house
My friends and I had a great stay here for our long weekend get-together. The house itself was close to everything and was recently renovated. It was very spacious and we thought the updates / décor were well done. The backyard was a great place to sit in the evenings. The neighborhood itself is residential and was described by one of our drivers as "up-and-coming." That is probably as fair a representation as you'll get. It is a neighborhood that stretches back over a hundred years and that has left it with quite the mix of houses - both well maintained and updated like this one, and others yet to undergo needed updates. We never felt unsafe but I can imagine others might be less comfortable walking around. Not that you would need to as you are a short drive or uber ride to most things. Owner was responsive and checkout asks were very reasonable. All in all, I highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Louisville.

Fantastic Place for a Family or Friends Getaway
We spent a week for a guy's trip to Louisville and walked away very impressed with this house. It was extremely clean and well appointed, and only a very short drive from most everything there is to see & do in Louisville. Matt was an exceptional host. He was quick to respond with any and all questions, and laid out very nice, detailed recommendations for things to do and places to visit. I highly recommend this property!!

Home Base During Baseball Tournament
In the area to participate in a youth baseball tournament in Elizabethtown and used this house as our home base for two families. It worked out really well. Since we were in town for an entire week, we didn't want hotel rooms - we wanted space where we could spread out. This home was wonderful for our needs - beautifully redone with all the conveniences. Lots of space - the kitchen came in handy so we didn't have to eat all of our meals out. Definitely used the washer and dryer. :) There was even an air mattress to help breakup siblings that didn't want to sleep in the same bed. The backyard provided extra space for kids to get some energy out and in the evenings it was filled with fireflies!!! SO FUN! And the location worked out well so that we could easily explore the sites in Louisville too! Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger Museum, and the University. The only thing we really missed out on was Whiskey Row...but it was all right there! - too many kid activities - so sad. It's in a historic neighborhood and I enjoyed the charm. Hosts were awesome! On top of everything. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Well maintained home and great location to Whiskey Row and Churchill Downs! Our Host was prompt to reply and offered many helpful recommendations for Distillery tours and tastings, as well as favorite restaurants to visit! Wonderful home for a family weekend
My family and I went to Louisville for a weekend, and we loved staying at this house. We had enough space to spread out, everything was very clean, and Matthew was a wonderful host. He was helpful leading up to booking and answered all of my questions. The home has such charm and a great floor plan. There were lots of other thoughtful details that made the stay very comfortable - blackout curtains in the bedrooms, TVs in every bedroom, coffee & coffee filters, shampoo/conditioners/soap in the bathrooms. Overall, it was a lovely stay with wonderful hosts!

Winter Getaway
We came to Louisville once before in October for a one night stay on our way to the Great Smoky Mountains but this trip was to see Blake Shelton/explore the area. The home was exactly what you expect from the pictures posted. Matt was easy to work with & even provided his suggestions while we were there. Those came in handy & his high recommendation of the best burger at the Holy Grael was a must have! We loved it! We travel with another couple & each of us took a day to go off & do our own exploring of the city as well as Kentucky. My husband stumbled across Pho Ba Luu; delicious Thai street food. The Pho was one of the best I've had & my husband loved his noodle bowl. This property was conveniently located to the interstate that made travel easy. The home was quite relaxing & quiet. We did not have wifi during stay due to severe weather a few days before our arrival but it was lovely to be unplugged & enjoying each other's company. I highly recommend this property anytime you're in Louisville & we are already planning our next trip to the area.

We had a great time at this property. 6 adults stayed here while we were doing bourbon tours over a long weekend. The house has been beautifully renovated and was extremely comfortable. There is plenty of space and the kitchen is really nice. When we weren’t sleeping most of our time spent at the house was in the kitchen. Communication with the hosts was excellent all weekend. My family all agrees that we would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town.

We were a group of 6 adults and two infants and we had just a wonderful stay at Matthew and Melissa’s property. The home is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space to hangout, cook, and sleep. The check in/check out process was very smooth and Matt was very communicative leading up to the stay. They even had coffee, tea, and cookies waiting for us when we checked in! Overall, would definitely recommend this home. The entire group loved it, even said it was the best rental property they’d ever stayed at!

We had the absolute best time at this rental property. Made some great fun memories. Everything was clean, and the home was comfortable for 4 couples. The property was very nice to stay in - the location is close to the interstate and also a short drive from downtown allowing our group to visit all of the distilleries we wanted to see. Cute house in a great location
House was just as pictured and located just minutes from anything we wanted to do. We would definitely recommend this property for any group looking to explore Louisville and wanting a home where you can relax comfortably.

Great Place to Stay While in Louisville!
My friends and I voted to stay here from the VRBO website. We made the right choice! Very clean, and plenty of room for all of us. Matthew had all amenities needed for our stay and the communication was great. He gave us suggestions for restaurants. ( Holy Grale and Jack Frys. Both great choices) But the main reason we came down was for the Bourbon Trail. We used one of the recommended tours to tour the Bardstown distilleries that was reviewed by one of the past customers. All in all, this was a great place to stay!

Perfect!
The house was clean, beautiful and had plenty of space for 7 adults. It was less than a 10 minute commute to anything we wanted to do. Matt was a wonderful host and gave us some recommendations on activities and introduced us to Jack Fry’s restaurant (by far the best food, service and atmosphere we have ever experienced). The fresh coffee and donuts were a nice touch! We will definitely stay here again when we are in Louisville.

Beautifully remodeled and great location
We just got home from our 4 day trip to Louisville to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. We had a group of 4 couples and this house was so spacious and comfortable. We took Matt's recommendation on hiring the private chef he mentions in his listing and that was such a memorable experience!! The kitchen is beautifully remodeled with double stoves and a large island! Kitchen was well stocked and the fresh flowers, coffee, and pastries Matt and Melissa had waiting for us was such a thoughtful touch. The house was 6 minutes from the airport and just as close to Church Hill Downs and Bourbon Row. We were able to visit many different distilleries, the furthest away being one hour. If you are considering this property we would highly recommend. Thank you Matt and Melissa for such a great stay!
