Great little spot near good food! Great staff and a cool place to stay! Very sound proof! Tiny bathroom as expected for Italy but the pillows were very comfortable!

The main advantage of the hotel is that it is fairly central to the Rome City Centre, near a lovely park. Many listed hotels tend to be in the outer edge of Rome. Expect a 20E taxi to the Colliseum / shopping areas or a 20min walk through the park daytime only to Metro, which is an amazing 1.5E standard fare. The hotel is historically a former private school, and has large rooms, with high ceilings, in a traditional building. The rooms are not modern, being a traditional building, but the kitchenettes are a real plus. It has an outdoor pool (though seasonal, closed for our stay in late October). There was a good buffet continental breakfast selection. There was unfortunately a mix up with our room type, which could have been communicated better, before I entered the room to find it smaller than the one I had booked. The staff were honourable in their remedy of free mini bar and rectified the room the next day. Overall a near excellent stay, location, generous room size and very good reception and breakfast staff. End Oct 26 stay, 2 nights, family of 4.
