The overall stay was good. Great scenery, convenient parking, as well as cleanliness. However there were some major downfalls. Our villa located on the 1st floor, had someone above us possibly 5 or 6 people including kids in one small room. The first night was ok. The second thru last night were horrible. Getting woken up at 3am by stomping and loud thumps and bangs from upstairs neighbors. Followed by constant kids running around and screaming. Called the front desk on the second night around 7:30pm to inform them of the matter we were told to call back after 10 if the matter ensues. Needless to say we did that and no one answered the phone. So yet another restless night. Never received a return call or any help whatsoever. Now let’s talk about the beds, they are not as comfortable as the villa looks. Beds felt springs in my back and not cushioned at all. The temperature is hard to regulate in the room it’s either too hot or cold. Overall besides the view I will never stay here again. If I could get a refund I would.

Lakeside Amusement Park

This center of fun and thrills hasn’t changed much since the mid-20th century, but that’s part of its charm.

I wish I could prepare you properly for this place. This place is the proverbial bee's knees if you're a kid. I was told about this place through an episode of South Park. The entire episode is devoted to the South Park kids trying to get to Casa Bonita for a birthday party. And now having been there, I know that the episode couldn't have portrayed this place more accurately. Located in a shady part of town, this restaurant specializes in entertainment with your meal. There are cliff divers inside that dive into a pool from a top their homemade waterfall. There is a ginormous video arcade, there's "Black Bart's Cave" to go exploring in, a Mexican Mariachi band, and of course, Magicians and a puppet show. This place has it all, right? Wrong! They rope you in right away when you walk inside into buying some $16 meal that will honestly be the WORST meal of your life. Everyone in Denver knows, EVERYONE knows that Casa Bonita is the worst food of all time. So if you're like me and you just figure you'll drink instead... Nope! You're required to buy the shitty food. Also, don't drink there. The margarita was single-handedly the WORST margarita I've ever tasted. It was like some sort of Margarita concentrate mix with WAY too much sugar. Your call. Not worth the price. All in all though, I'd still recommend the place because it's an experience to say the least. Plus, it's kind of a staple for living in Denver. It's worth going to once. Google the South Park episode first. You'll laugh your ass off once you see how accurate the show was with the restaurant. Don't get a margarita. I heard the fried chicken isn't as bad as everything else. And for the love of God, get as many sopapillas as you can fit into your stomach. It's the only good thing there. :)
