“We didn’t have hot water for our stay but the weather was nice all weekend so not too much of an issue. Never received the email with the check in number but thankfully the golf course staff were very helpful nearby. Overall it was well priced and in a great location for easy access to Hereford whilst still being in the countryside. Very peaceful location and friendly neighbours. Our two dogs had a great time staying there too!”

“Truly excellent, warm and welcoming on every level. Great facility's wonderful views. Handy local amenities' at Kington and not far too Hereford for Museums', Art and History and many beautiful rivers. The property itself is charming and extremely comfortable. All in all a great property to enjoy this part of the English/Welsh border.”

“We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at the kingfisher Shepherds hut. If your looking to stay please bare in mind that the hut is very small, there is very limited kitchen supplies, ie no oven, microwave or decent sized freezer. Unfortunately lots of flys got into our hut which we had to sleep with as we had no repellent and no nets were provided. It is a bit of a faff having to heat your own hot tub and sauna, building the fire and keeping it alight for atleast 2hrs is hard work……

“We booked a last minute break to escape the fireworks as our dog is petrified - it was so quiet here, it was perfect.The hosts were lovely and the welcome package was also a lovely surprise - tea bags, sugar, coffee, biscuits.The accommodation was spotlessly clean, there were others in the adjacent and next door accommodation but you would never know.Its in close proximity to Hay on Wye, hopefully we will return so we can explore more of the surrounding area.All in all we had a lovely short……
