"The breakfast was delicious. Totally worth staying there for that.
if you get a room 9, 10, 11 or 12 you will be walking up 4 flights of stairs so ask for a lower floor if you do want to not do that. I had room 10, which was on the back and it was super quiet. In fact when I opened the window, the birds were singing in the morning, which was very cool. "

"We enjoyed our stay and were not at all inconvenienced by any noise from outside, despite being over an Irish bar (which had great atmosphere, with friendly staff)"

"Great little apartment, comfortable and clean. Shower is good, but if you are tall or large, you may find the bathrooms a bit cramped. The roadworks made my stay noisy, but that is only temporary. The check in and helpful staff were great. "

"This is a lovely hotel in a really nice area. The area is pedestrianised so there's no traffic outside which was nice. We used all public transport so this suited us well. The rooms were small but comfortable. The rooftop bar was also very nice although the service was a little slow. "

"We could check in early which was really great. The rooms are small but functional and for us good enough for 1 night. Perfectly situated at shops and Christmas markets. All accessible.
The only issue was parking but there are parking garages at walking distance. Please be informed that on Sundays you can’t access the parking garages, this was a problem for us as you need to call the “emergency” lines and pay euro 50 additionally "

10/10 Excellent
"Room was very comfortable and bed was one of the best we’d slept in. Rooms were basic but had everything you needed for a short stay. Very clean with fab toiletries and little extras. The only thing I’d say is that the bathroom door could be a little more private due to its transparency when the light is on. Could maybe do with a curtain over it like the shower. Not a great problem as we got used to it but if you like your privacy then it’s something I think guests should be aware of.
The location of the hotel was fabulous. Quiet but very central for everything. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Bar area was lovely and kept very neat and clean.
We would certainly stay there again.

"Only in for one night while seeing a concert in town. It is close to the station and many japanese restaurants in the neighbourhood. Very modern and clean. "
"Absolutely fantastic, from a seasoned traveller this was a tremendous hotel for the price paid. Can’t comment on the food as we ate out but room spotless and pool a lovely bonus. Don’t believe the negative reviews and give it a try!"
" Very friendly and helpful staff
Manisha provided exceptional service and support, she’s very attentive and absolutely great at what she does.
The location is great just 3 min from HB station. Super clean, specious and sound proof rooms with comfortable bed and qualify linen.
Bathroom, shower and kitchenette also super clean and well equipped. I had a wonderful stay for 9 days and happy to come back at anytime. "
"Düsseldorf is NOT a City in Germany to visit, unless you need to go for working or in business trip. The Steigenberger hotel is very well located, walking distance to shopping and Rhein promenade, restaurants and so. Beautifull location."
"We were a group of 4 bikers traveling through Europe. The room with 2 bunkbeds was very comfortable and at a great price .
The breakfast provided by the hotel was great ."
"Very comfortable welcoming clean very close to train station. Free american breakfast. Upgraded for free to connecting rooms as we were a family with 2 separate bookings."
"Great location and kiosk and bakery nearby. Breakfast was very expensive so we went to the bakery around the corner and had a delicious breakfast there. "
"First time in this Düsseldorf hotel and it was an excellent experience. I will definitely stay again. Friendly, helpful staff and reception. Room was super clean and fresh, best bed linen and pillows I've had for a long time (and I'm a frequent traveller). I didn't try the breakfast as I'm not a morning food person and €23 per person seemed expensive. Well done to all the team, it was a wonderful stay. "
"The hotel is a short walk away from the inner city (10-15 minutes) which we didn’t mind at all, there is many of places nearby should you fancy a more chilled day! Staff were amazing and the male bartender was so accommodating if we ever needed anything. If you are planning to stay in Düsseldorf be sure to bring a few euros in cash as most bars along the Rhine don’t take card! "
"The check in staff member was amazing, friendly and very helpful during our stay. Hotel was clean, 10 mins to old town and 10 mins to main station. Would definitely recommend it. Clean rooms, comfy bed and great shower.
Only negative was the lack of a fridge"

"Brilliant location for Düsseldorf Central and the Messe exhibition hall, lovely room with free hot drinks (if you didn't want to sit for breakfast) and the lady at reception was fantastic at helping me retrieve my lost luggage from the airport. Would recommend!"
