Fantastic Apartment
Just spent 8 weeks at this lovely apartment. It has everything you need for a long stay, from plenty of bed linen to a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are spacious with the lounge and master bedroom having the fantistic view. Check in was easy, being met by Agne who very kindly gave us lots of useful information about the area. The apartment is at the top of a hill, which we knew from the owner Jean Luc who advised us immediately after we booked. As two relatively fit 50 somethings we found the walk ok and took around 20 mins straight down into the marina. We did find the road that is directly opposite the complex easier to walk back up as it is more gradual (comes out at the overpass at the Castle). We didnt bother with a hire car as found that it would only be needed for shopping. We did this by getting a taxi for €8 from Mercadona. The local but to Estepona/Gibralter was at the bottom of the hill €4 was reliable but only 8 a day. We had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to recommend.

Special atmosphere, beautiful views
Stayed in the apartment at the first half of April, it was peaceful and quiet. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay, it's clean and tidy. A car is a must, but for exchange you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea, the sunrises and the surrounding natural environment and if you're a golfer, a club is just next to the village. Though there are 5 pools in the complex, only two are available before main season (30.May) and the water temperature is only good for active people or kids with proper wetsuits. In the town down by the sea we could find anything we needed, there was a bigger and some smaller supermarkets and many restaurants.

Duquesa village top floor apartment
We stayed in this 2 bed, 1 bath, 1 shower & wc, top floor apartment for 83 days Jan - end March. Very comfortable beds with winter weight double duvet for the colder months, plus summer weight for warmer months. Glorious view over golf course and towards the sea. Situated at the bottom of the steep hill and not overlooked by other apartments from the balcony. There is also a very small area at the rear (which is overlooked) but where you can enjoy the mid-late afternoon sunshine. I would have booked it for next year but someone has beaten us to it.

Fantastic apartment

We enjoyed our stay so much!!!! The flat has got everything that you might need on a holiday.Kitchen is fully equipped. The pools were lovely even in november.Loved the view and enjoyed the lift every day from the garage to our floor... Highly recommend it!!!!!!

Lovely apartment with sea view
Great communication from the owner throughout. The management company were also very helpful. They helped us find the apartment and showed us around. The apartment was very clean and it was decorated well. There were outside terraces from both of the bedrooms and living room with a beautiful sea view. The apartment had everything we needed for the stay (hairdryer, iron, coffee machine etc). A car is needed as it is too far to walk to La Duquesa with kids, but parking is provided. A really enjoyable stay, we will definitely be back!

Better than expected!
This apartment was better than we expected. Pictures don't show how big the main balcony is, rooms are spacious and the pool was soo good; proper pool for swimming. We swam every day, we don't want only lying down and tanning - which was easy to do too. I even lost some weight! Tank you, we loved it and will be back!

Ideal Location and Excellent Accommodation
Three of us stayed in the apartment for the month of April. We found it to have all the amenities as advertised and was very clean and well maintained. The property manager was very responsive to any concerns we had which weren't very many. The location is away from the cities but is well located for venturing out to all the mountaintop villages and Gibraltar. It is necessary to drive to restaurants and shopping however this is the trade-off for peace and quiet. It is a short drive to the cities of Marbella, Estepona, and Gibraltar.

Very nice unit as advertized
The unit was very nice, clean and well maintained as advertised with a great layout, huge balcony and awesome views of the Med and a few holes of the golf course in the distance having been on the top floor of the unit. Both the owner and his local representative provided exceptional customer service answering all enquiries promptly and efficiently. I would recommend the unit to both friends and relatives as it is a beautiful place and quite comfortable. The one issue that is challenging is the location as it requires driving to everything as no restauraunts, grocery stores, etc are within a reasonable walking distance away so a car is always required. Having said that, the area is incredible to explore regarding the great history and culture of the area.

Hervorragendes Apartment in toller Lage
Apartment entspricht allen Angaben (sogar noch mehr da als angegeben) und ist sehr sauber. Meerblick aus dem dritten Stock, Garagenstellplatz, Wlan (zum streamen völlig ausreichend) und sehr entspannter Check-In-Vorgang!

Vacaciones en Manilva
Bonito apartamento para pasar unos dias en familia cerca de la playa. Cuenta con todo lo imaginable para sentirte como en casa, destacando la tranquilidad de la zona. Ademas cuenta con una parcela de garaje cerrada, muy importante si viajas en coche. La urbanizacion tiene varias piscinas, no obstante puedes acceder a un monton de playas en pocos minutos, y sin problemas para aparcar en ellas, teniendo en cuenta que viajabamos en Julio. Recomendable al cien por cien. Si volvemos por la zona no dudaremos en alquilarlo de nuevo.

Superschön und praktisch
Sehr gut praktisch eingerichtetes Apartment, alles vorhanden. Schöne Terrasse, ruhiges Haus und Umgebung. Sehr gute Betreuung im Falle von auftauchenden Problemen. Mit dem Auto kann man gut die Urbanisation erreichen und Garagenplatz im Haus vorhanden.

Fast wie zu Hause
Die Lage ist sehr schön, die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und alles, was man benötigt, ist vorhanden. Betten (Matratzen) sind bequem und auch für Rückengeschädigte gut (eher härter, nicht durchgelegen). Man kann morgens mit schönem Blick bis zum Meer auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Da in Andalusien der Himmel oft wolkenlos ist, meistens bei Sonnenschein. Die Poolanlagen sind gepflegt und auch im Winter nutzbar. Schwimmen ist dann aber nur etwas für Abgehärtete. Der Weg zu Fuß zum Hafen dauert knapp 20 Minuten. Das Haus liegt höher, daher ist der Weg an manchen Stellen "anstrengend". Am Hafen sind dann viele Cafés und Restaurants und die lange Promenade am Meer. Fazit: Wir kommen wieder.

Excellente location
Dès notre arrivée à Manilva, notre première impression sur l’appartement de Jean-Luc a été excellente. José, chargé de nous accueillir a été au top. Il a passé un bon moment avec nous afin de nous expliquer tout ce que nous avions besoin de savoir sur l’appartement et sur les visites à effectuer dans la région. L’appartement est confortable et bien équipé. Il ne manque rien. Nous sommes venus en automne et les températures extérieures et intérieures sont très douces, ce qui est très agréable. Nous avons apprécié les espaces, les 2 grandes chambres, les deux salles d’eau et les terrasses devant et derrière. L’équipement multimédia est de qualité : la grande télévision et le wifi ont parfaitement fonctionné. On peut bien stationner la voiture dans le garage, en sous-sol. L’accès est très large et ne pose pas de problème. Dans la résidence, on peut aussi profiter d’un jardin d’agrément et de plusieurs piscines. Le quartier est calme. Il n’y a pas de bruit. Les habitants sont tranquilles et très respectueux. En conclusion, l’appartement comporte tout le confort souhaitable et est très bien conçu. Il est calme, bien entretenu, propre, et lumineux. La région est très belle, aussi bien en bordure de mer qu’à l’intérieur. Manilva est une belle petite ville. Le réseau routier est excellent. On peut voir toutes les villes côtières : Malaga, Marbella, Estepona, Gibraltar, Algesiras, Tarifa et à l'intérieur Ronda. On peut aussi visiter Tanger, accessible très facilement. Nous avons été très heureux de venir chez Jean-Luc. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir une prochaine année pour découvrir ou revoir toutes les villes. JL P

Fantastischer Urlaub mitten in der Landschaft und Meerblick
Wir haben 10 sonnige Tage in diesem Appartement verbracht. Es ist komplett und sehr schön eingerichtet, noch besser als auf den Fotos. Es sind sogar 3 Balkone. Von dem großen Balkon (angrenzend an Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer) hat man einen sensationellen Blick in die Landschaft und auf das Meer. Die ruhige Lage und der Komfort der Wohnung ließen uns den Aufenthalt genießen. Der Vermieter und sein Agent vor Ort waren stets hilfsbereit.

Très bel appartement pour passer de bonnes vacances
L'appartement est très fonctionnel pour une famille de 4 et joliment décoré. La salle de bain dans la chambre parentale est très appréciable et les enfants sont autonomes avec leur coin douche. Très belle vue. Nous avons aimé le balcon sur lequel nous pouvons prendre les repas. Les autres petites terrasses sont pratiques également, notamment pour le linge. Lave-vaisselle et lave-linge, idéal pour de vraies vacances ! Nous sommes à 2 mn des grandes piscines. La voiture est effectivement indispensable. L'accueil est parfait et la communication avec le propriétaire très facile. Aucun point négatif. Nous vous conseillons cet appartement pour vos prochaines vacances !
