"We stayed in the shepherd's hut, it was really lovely, private and tranquil. The wood burner is a great addition and ensured we stayed very cosy evrn though it was freezingoutside. The surrounding area is beautiful, lots of walks, a beautiful lake and lots of wildlife. The lodge was comfortable and really well equipped for cooking and relaxing. Hope to return in tje summer."

"Melvin Country House ticks all the boxes. The moment we arrived we felt at home with a very friendly greeting from Martin and a pot of tea. As it was a Sunday the restaurant wasn’t open but he helped us out with a place to go for winner and drinks, even offering to drive us. "It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!"

"This is a lovely B and B in beautiful County Leitrim. Lovely, good sized comfortable room. Bed was very comfortable. Quiet accommodation. Not licenced but very quaint small wee bar directly across the road. We stayed a Friday night and there was traditional live band playing Irish music. Lovely friendly wee bar."
