"I recently stayed in a 1 bed, 1 bath rental in Bakersfield and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location was a bit farther from town than I would have preferred, but the newness and tranquility of the neighborhood made up for it. "We stayed here with our three year old and he absolutely loved it...feeding the donkeys, plunging in the cold pool, and soaking in the hot tub. The trail was great for a morning walk and plenty to do/see nearby. When he's older we would bring our bikes for sure."
