Pros: nice view on high floor; firm bed
Cons: centrally located in downtown Rochester where running into homeless transients and drug addicts is guaranteed day & night; limited dining options within hotel especially in the evening; vending machines? Serious? Hotel is old and it shows. Don't be fooled by the name and pictures.
Conclusion: overall OK; unsafe area; there are better options close by. Will not stay here again.

"The ONLY challenge we had is that we have a baby. There was no high chair in the breakfast room so it made it a little difficult to eat breakfast. Then just a suggestion (I know I could have asked but I don’t like inconveniencing anyone) is to have an extra blanket in the room!"

"Service was friendly and our room was very clean. However, I needed to drop a star due to the very loud A/C unit that made it very difficult to sleep. Also, no free breakfast. We had breakfast at the sit-down restaurant (Petals) for the price, it was just so-so."
