Fun Place in the Medina with excellent hosts
This riad was beautiful and in such a cool spot, right in the Medina. Fatah and Saida took such good care of us! We had excellent meals and all the information we needed to enjoy Marrakech. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Wonderful hosts in a very good riad
Great: The hosts. Fatah and Saida were just the best. They looked after every aspect of our stay, arranging various tours and drivers. They were very kind people and were the best part of the riad. Saida's cooking, what shall we say except it was fantastic? Better than most of the restaurants at which we ate and at a very reasonable cost. Good: The location of the riad. It is a bit tricky to find and despite walking back to it multiple times a day, we often found ourselves turned around in the winding streets of the Medina (But isn't that the fun part of the Medina?). However, the location does provide some peace and quiet in the busting city. The riad is quite nice and spacious, apart for the downstairs bedrooms which were a bit tight. The layout of the riad meant that even when it was 100 degrees outside, the riad was still very pleasant. The not so good: The internet. Very slow and very spotty connectivity. Other comments: This is not a criticism but more a question. The riad, at times, felt damp, particularly the downstairs bedrooms. This very well may be the nature of a riad which is meant to keep the rooms cool. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Riad Valia and would certainly stay here again if we return to Marrakech.

Amazing Stay in a Great Riad
The riad itself is in as good of a location as you could possibly get, and is immaculately clean, well designed, and really feels like somewhere you could stay your entire trip and still be satisfied. The house manager Fatah is incredible, helping to set up some great experiences, communicating really well with us, and serving some fantastic food. Really, the food we got at the riad was the best we got in Marrakech. It’s a bit pricey but is well worth it. This VRBO and Fatah really helped us to make some sense of the craziness that is Medina, and if you’re looking for a place to stay, look no further.

Wonderful riad and wonderful hosts
We loved everything about the Riad Valia! It has a great location inside the Medina which is easily accessible to all the main old town attractions. It is also really quiet, beautifully furnished, and has the great plunge pool and A/C in the 2 1st floor bedrooms. It was 45 (113) degrees in Marrakech when we were there but the riad was amazingly cool. The best part however is the incredible service provided by Fatah and Saida. We had 2 meals and all breakfasts at the riad which were great, and Fatah's excellent help with all our travel needs was undoubtedly the most unique and amazing part of our stay. It was our 1st time in Morocco and we had not planned very much. Fatah set up our travel, our guide, and gave us the best restaurant recommendations. He was also just a really nice kind person, and we were so happy to have him around. Thanks to all for a great stay in Marrakesh!

Amazing Riad and Marrakech
We were two families, 8 people, and it was very nice to have the Riad only for us. No problems and full dedication from the assistant Fatah when we need it: doubts, meal at home, shopping or indications into the Medina. Fantastic! Thank you very much for your hospitality

Nice riad
Simple and quiet riad in the heart of the medina, but away from the hustle and bustle, it's is quite hidden, it might be intimidating during the night, but over all we were safe during our stay, the riad itself it's simple, has everything you need, it has some wonderful rooms, each of them has the toilet which it's very convenient, we had a wonderful time there, they took good care of us of everything, and they offer a delicious breakfast and dinner which we could request in advance.

Good riad, Good location
The recently renovated riad is in an ideal location - right in the medina near the spice market, but away enough from the shops/souks to give you some peace. It's a bit spartan, but clean, bright, and comfortable. Fatah and Saudia were friendly and helpful. I needed to adjust the location of the router in order to get a bit of the internet into the rooms.
