Kagoshima3 nights3.5 star property9.0/10 - Wonderful (1,020 reviews)"Recently stayed 2 nights at the JR Kyushu Kagoshima. Check in/check out all friendly and efficient. The location is amazing. You don’t even have to go outside the station to access the hotel reception. Amazing. The staff were welcoming in saying hello everytime you either left or returned to the hotel. Great to see. Room was adequate for 3 people, but a little small for 3 large suitcases. Shower was good. The reason I’m not giving this hotel a full score is because of the pillows. I’m sorry, but..."Reviewed October 29, 2026Roundtrip • Taipei (TPE) - Kagoshima (KOJ)TPE - KOJ • 1 stop KOJ - TPE • Nonstop$744$697found 7 hours agoper traveler - URBAN STAYS Tenmonkan

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan PREMIER"Great location and really lovely room."
"We booked a queen shower room, non smoking. This is a fairly new hotel the room we had was great and had a small writing desk. It is in a good quiet location and there are plenty of restaurants near by. It is a 10 minute walk from the tram stop & airport bus stop which was extremely convenient for us as we here flying out from Kagoshima to Osaka. Breakfast is on the top floor as is the reception area. The view from the top is wonderful with the volcano in the background. The highlight for us was...

Vacation Rental Hotel TENMONKAN"Very poor communication. Was difficult to contact anyone. They do not respond through Expedia messages, and one of the 2 phone numbers on their website do not work. We only had 3 towels in the room for 4 people. After calling to ask for another we were told no, our 6 year old son was too young to get a towel. Apparently he doesn't need to bathe? There are only 2 plates in the kitchen, so we couldn't all eat there without buying disposable plates. So don't plan to use the kitchen, which kind...
