"Wonderful location for the first of hopefully many trips as a large group of friends (inspired by my dad’s trips with Terence’s friends below!). Dinner on the promontory terrace overlooking the river was truly spectacular. The pool was refreshing for our week of unexpectedly hot September weather and the hot water for showering was truly impressive. The chateau is an unforgettable vacation spot!"

Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached.
