"We liked the swimming pool, pool table, ping pong and gym. Unfortunately our room ‘Paul’ was tiny for 4 people, it was in the attic space so incredibly hot, even with fans, and difficult to access. Only one toilet on top floor to share between 10 people. Did not sleep well at property. The breakfast was fine. Dogs are welcome, but hosts dog unruly and out of control, so my dog had to spend all it’s time in bedroom, when we wanted to use any of the facilities. The host was inflexible. If you do...

"Pros: Pour notre deuxième séjour chez Sophie nous avons passé un excellent moment dans le cadre d'une halte sur la route des vins. Calme et détente sont toujours au rendez-vous, les immenses chambres sont très confortables. L'accueil et la bonne humeur de Sophie sauront vous charmer pour vous faire passer un excellent moment, et que dire (à nouveau) des chouquettes maison au petit déjeuner, ce fut un régal. "Great location just off the motorway, very efficient check in and although the meal we had was expensive for what appeared to be a microwave dish, we were happy as a family to have it available. The room was large, two separate bedrooms and a huge bathroom. Warm, clean and comfortable."

"Fantastic stay! Beautifully renovated chateau, perfectly located just a 20 minute drive from the superb St Emillion area. Very nice breakfast and we also really enjoyed the bistro in the evenings. Lovely relaxed staff, friendly and helpful. Great swimming pool. We really liked the robes to go to the pool in and the Rituals toiletries were a lovely luxurious treat! Highly recommended! "

"Beautiful property in lovely surroundings. Great pool and shaded tree areas adjacent. Restaurant had a limited menu on Sunday evening with limited staff available so choice was not great but they went out of their way to produce a veggie option which wasn’t already part of the limited offer. Breakfast in the sunshine was lovely on a hot Monday morning with good service. So go is unnecessarily complicated though. Great stopover and noted for future trips travelling south through France. We will be back!"

"We totally enjoyed almost everything about this property. The location, the ease to find and all the amenities. The staff super nice, the pool and steam a great treat after a long day. The restaurant for breakfast is very good, lots of selection. The dinner on the other hand was lack luster with options that that were limited. Nothing for a non meat eater and the service was confusing. overall I highly recommend and its great value. "
