Nice people and breakfast was ready by 5:40 am. Room was comfortable but weather knocked out power for 6 hours & someone was stuck in the elevator.
I love everything and the staff was nice and respectful
Friendly staff, was able to check in early. Not much in town of Smackover but El Dorado is a few miles down the road. Price was very reasonable . Property is newer and well kept. Overall great place.
Friendly staff, clean and felt like home. My children really loved their stay as well...they are STILL talking about how cool it was and they cant wait to be back next yr (family reunion). Thank you
the rooms need a fresh coat of paint ...other than that we were happy
The manager was very nice and welcoming. Even the cleaning ladies were very nice and helped us when we needed it. I am very pleased with our stay, even though the pool was closed. The hospitality was above and beyond.
The value is very reasonable and proximity to the town is very good. Plenty of eateries nearby. Enjoyed our stay.
Clean and nice management

It resides 85 miles from the state capital, Little Rock. It's a little further to travel, but well worth it!
Grab a hotel right in the area. There are 3 to choose from. The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Camden and Comfort Inn are both possible candidates and are within 2 miles of McCollum Chidester House.
Make your trip easier on the wallet by choosing to stay at a nearby budget hotel. The Americas Best Value Inn is within walking distance. It's just 1 mile away.
Mosey around the pathways that encompass McCollum Chidester House to really get a taste of the area.
