This hotel is a good option, if you plan to include Gozo in your trip. Free parking is definitely a bonus and the bay view/swimming pool view from the balcony is lovely. The personnel at the reception is nice and helpful.
The rooms and bathrooms are a bit outdated, but overall alright.
The double bed in our room was squeaky - I woke up couple times just because of the noise it made, when my partner turned from one side to another. I am not sure, if it was just bad luck...we didn't ask to change the room, since the beds looked the same on the pictures.
The maintenance could use a vacuum cleaner time to time to get rid of the hair. Sometimes, we got new hair of other colors than ours from the mop, I suppose.
Breakfast was average towards poor in terms of quality and in terms of choice it really became boring after few nights. They served every single morning the same staff.
If you have a car, you may consider to get some stock in a supermarket and you will be better off that way.
We only used the main pool, the others were more for kids and not equipped with easy chairs. The indoor pool was under maintenance (they were painting the walls). Guests, who ignored the smell of the fresh paint, used the pool anyway, but the gym and sauna was closed completely (bcs. of Covid19).
Despite the flaws I mentioned, I would recommend this hotel. It's a good option to explore Mellieha. A slightly lower price would be in place, if the management can afford it.
