Room is nicely re-furnished and that is lovely. Very disappointed that the "Pool Open 24 hours a day" is closed and not available. There are no amenities in the office, no coffee or tea service. There is a small Keurig in room. Glad for fridge and microwave oven. Glad we planned ahead and grocery shopped for Breakfast and lunch tomorrow. Dinner options in town are San Juan Inn Bar and Grill and 7-11.At the San Juan Bar and grill, Food was okay,they close at 8 and service was very slow. Prices are reasonable. They were swamped. Advice to others plan ahead

Comfortable beds
The room was comfortable and had plenty of storage spaces. The beds were comfortable. There were more people staying there on our last night and that was when we realised that the floorboard of the room above us was not good as we could here every movement of the people above ours.

Room is super clean. The indoor facility Is remodeled. Can’t ask more right at the monument valley. Highly recommend this hotel if you need stay a night over there.

Cozy and scenic
The San Juan River runs along the back of the property, giving it a pleasant atmosphere. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable.

Mexican Hat
Hat Rock Inn is good. Clean room, comfortable beds. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The pool and hot tub were nice enough. The best thing (imo) about staying here was seeing the night sky with little light polution. Be warned that there are basically 2 places to eat in Mexican Hat. A 7-11 and the San Juan Cafe. We didn't love the food at the cafe (underseasoned) but the service was great and it's the only option in town.

Pretty view, there was a bathroom, bed, tv, fridge, and coffee maker. Curtains were dirty and the cafe was closed. It was just ok, but thankful we had a place to stay since there are not many hotels out there.

Ménage baclé, les lits n'ont pas été refaits le deuxième jour, l'accueil était fermé à notre arrivée nous avons dû frapper à la maison voisine ! Pas de petit déjeuner, le restaurant est fermé. Au prix payé cela n'est pas normal. Aucun service annexe. Le réfrigérateur était sale à notre arrivée.

Avoid this miserable place.
Very grumpy and rude Indian lady in the office. Very unhelpful and made us miserable too. The room was full of bugs, we had spiders crawling on our faces at night. The AC rattled the windows and doors like crazy…

I'm so sorry. We have such a limited workforce and many who are 'new' to hospitality, I'll work on this. as for the 'bugs', the Southwest 'enjoys' occasion swarms of various insects, this is beyond our control and we never know when or if it might happen. Spiders? We have not seen any excess spiders on the property? We use a professional pest control service...the AC was replaced the next day, it wasn't an issue before that. I just hope the rest of your vacation was drama free and enjoyable.

Way overpriced. The bed seemed clean, but the chairs and curtains had stains. There were some red pills on the floor next to the nightstand and I also stepped on some type of sharp burr once I took off my shoes, which makes me wonder if the floors were cleaned. The room itself just didn’t seem really clean. But, the worst part was the air conditioner. It was SO LOUD loud that we couldn’t sleep at all, and my husband can usually can sleep through anything. The next morning as we were trying to get ready and exhausted from not sleeping, the power went out in the whole town, which I guess just happens in the area. That isn’t the properties fault, just adds to the whole experience. The view outside was pretty nice. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Great Location for seeing the Valley.
Hat Rock Inn was the perfect location for visiting Monument Valley, Valley of the Gods and Natural Bridges! And this hotel had the nicest towels! Really!!! Room was nice, pool area lovely and the young lady at reception couldn't have been nicer.
