There was enough room to stretch out and have privacy for each couple, while also enjoying a large communal space. The building has 24/7 security at the front door for extra peace of mind. Our host was attentive and answered questions promptly, and we found the location to be convenient to area attractions, bars and restaurants. Elevator was not working on the day of check in and check out, had to carry suitcases up/down 5 flights. Apartment was clean in the kitchen, dusty in one of the rooms per my friend. Blackout curtains would not fully close, maintenance came and and had a chair to hold it against the wall, not a great solution. Bathrooms are small but functional, except outlets were not working in master one. One of my friends complained of a lot of noise through the night he could not sleep at all. For the booking, we booked the 6 bedroom home that sleeps 16\. We did not realize that we were booking 2 adjacent condominium homes, each which sleeps 8 - that was our error. It is stated in the description. That said, it was still the perfect set up, being a larger family group, some with partners. The two separate homes allowed for more private time, away from the larger group, as needed.The homes were very clean and just as described. Most locations we have stayed before have the bare minimum amenities, e.g. cooking utensils. These homes have every imaginable amenity - from a French press to water purifier for drinking water, a blender, and washer/dryer. We were also greeted with a lovely bottle of red wine in each condo. The location is absolutely wonderful. Roma Norte is a very safe neighborhood for walking, with many tree-lined streets, colorful murals, and beautiful architecture. We were traveling with several vegetarians and one vegan, and there was no shortage of delicious, walkable options, both affordable and upscale - whether churros, coffee, pan Mexicano, tacos, chilaquiles, mole, or ice cream. It is also very centrally located and quick to Uber or otherwise motor over to major tourist attractions. The hosts were very friendly and quick to respond to any question or concern. It was really convenient to have two neighboring units for our group of 12\. The building is in a good location and is safe and secure and the beds were really comfortable. One of the units has a large couch and that unit became more of a gathering space. The other one is a little shy on cozy seating. Sending the host passport information for 12 people proved to be surprisingly tricky.
