The beds were comfortable, though not the exact sizes and distribution in the listing. And we would have liked a little more water pressure for showers, but everything else was great. "Rolling up to the house I was in awe of the view. Walking inside I could smell the house was clean without any chemicals attached. Being someone who is sensitive to smells, I was relieved. As I walked from room to room I instantly fell in love with the house. I could have left everything behind and just moved in. The house instructions were easy to follow. It was nice to have a list of places to go and attend listed in the back. We went to a local pizza joint “Franks”!! Amazing food, hospitality...

"Very, very clean house with everything you need to cook including a Thermador stove. Restaurants are steps away and include Sushi, Pizza, Greek and Bar food. Beds are very comfortable and bedding is lovely patterns. Dog friendly home with fenced in yard in back. Close to VMI and Washington and Lee universities."

"Stayed for a weekend while visiting friends in Lexington. The host, Charles, was incredibly nice and helpful, and the Schoolhouse is cute with an interesting history. Convenient to Lexington and 1 mile away from Lexington Valley Winery. Schoolhouse was clean, spacious, private, with huge yard and river running next to it."

There’s no cell service in the area, but the house does have WiFi that is easy to connect to if needed, so this was a great excuse to unplug. There’s a backyard with a good bit of space for your pup to play as well. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area."

"The cabin was the perfect place to spend a week hunting in the nearby National Forest. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hunting was not great, but the cabin provided a great environment to relax at. John and Linda are phenomenal hosts and great people. It was nice to get to know them this past week.
