"A great spot to just take a breathe! The house has everything you need and the view is wonderful. Gwen is a wonderful communicator and one can tell she takes pride in the property. The o my thing I would add to the space would be a little outdoor dining table! It is difficult to want to come I side when there is all of that beauty on the back porch."

"We only stayed one night but the home served us well. We hiked and bike, so home's proximity to Jackson River Scenic Trail and Lake Moomaw was very convenient. House was a modest ranch style. Kitchen was well stocked. Water smelled of sulfur, but owners said it had been tested and was deemed potable. Setting of home was rural and pretty, ensuring lovely views from the outside deck and gazebo."

The beds were comfortable, though not the exact sizes and distribution in the listing. And we would have liked a little more water pressure for showers, but everything else was great. "Our stay on Craig Creek was wonderful! The weather was incredibly windy so we couldn't do much on the creek and lost power due to the insane winds Saturday but it was so lovely to be outside and exploring the area right around the cabin. Mitch reported the outage for us and called us when the power was restored to ensure everything was ok. The porch bedroom was amazing as well! It was so nice to wake up with the creek and mountain view directly in front of you and we could see the stars at...

"A very peaceful and beautiful getaway. Very secluded property with a lovely view of the river. Ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The house is well-stocked, very clean, and really cozy. The host is very thoughtful and even offered to drive me to various hiking spots. There is a very nice trail very close to the house if you don't feel like driving around a lot. I would plan to get groceries before arriving since the grocery store is a bit of a drive. Highly recommend!!"
