Minamisoma Vacation Packages
Minamisoma is located some 150 miles (241 kilometers) from Tokyo, the country's capital.
Minamisoma is not the only place in this popular region worth seeing; those with enough time can also hit the road and discover the charms of the surrounding landscapes, towns and cities. You may also wish to check out Tomioka, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the north, and Yamamoto 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the south.
When it's time to explore beyond Minamisoma, check out the nearest center. Iwaki sits 40 miles (64 kilometers) away and is home to sights like Misaki Park, Aquamarine Fukushima and Shiramizu Amida Temple. Don't rush back to Minamisoma until you've spent a little time at Iwaki's Iwaki City Art Museum, Iwaki Museum of Historical Artefacts and Sensho Temple.
There is nothing that unlocks hearts and minds in this amazing planet of ours in the way language can, so be sure to memorize some key Japanese phrases before you start. "Isshoni odorimasenka?" is a good example. In English, it means "Would you like to dance with me?" Yet another practical one to use "Benjo wa doko desu ka?" (Where's the toilet?).
At the end of your adventure in this unique place, say goodbye the way Japanese's do, with a heartfelt "Sayōnara."
