Minyat an-Nasr Vacations from $929

To start off the location on hotels.com/expedia.com were incorrect. This hotel is on the Main Street which was very noisy and upsetting since we picked this property based on location. The rooms were not sound proof. Additionally, we had 3 rooms for our group and 2/3 were not cleaned. One had a bloody towel and the other had the bathroom supplies used/open. We also never received housekeeping automatically, which I did not mind but good to know if you like a clean room. The excursion team there did not support in cancellations which I was not happy about as someone from our party fell ill, he did not give us a refund at any capacity although we were promised a partial refund as the deposit was already paid to the tour operator, the GM did not give us a refund after multiple messages. Breakfast- Yes Breakfast is free but it is the same leftovers each day and unsure what most of it was. Nothing special compared to other hotels in the area. Some parts I liked was they gave a free water bottle each day, and the regular staff was overall friendly.

They gave me two different rooms, then due to a miscommunication, a guy told me that if I wanted breakfast I had to pay extra. The next day, I complained to someone at reception and found out that asking for a simple cappuccino wasn't included in the breakfast, because espresso or cappuccino are extras that have to be paid for... I've never heard anything so ridiculous in my life, and what's more, it's not even specified here on this site, so I'm also angry with hotels.com. Subsequently, I used a hairdryer to dry my hair, and it caught fire. To top off this experience, which fortunately only lasted four days, I thank goodness I had an unlimited internet plan with Airalo, because the hotel's Wi-Fi is not only slow, but every 10 minutes, even if you don't move your phone, the connection drops. It's a shame because the hotel is in a good location, but it needs a lot of renovations and more attention to the building.

The absolute highlight of our stay was the rooftop breakfast with the most breathtaking views of the pyramids! Such an incredible experience and something we'll always remember. The accommodation itself was comfortable and perfectly adequate for our stay. The staff went above and beyond to help us and made our time in Giza a highlight.

We had a 4:00 am arrival and the staff was very accommodating with arranging an airport pickup and easy check in. Breakfast started at 7:00 am but they had food available at anytime from the restaurant/room service which was nice. Breakfast had a variety of items from traditional Egyptian breakfast, to pastries, yogurt, fruit, and cereal. Our group of 5, had 3 rooms and all were clean. The staff were friendly and also were able to exchange money for us which was very helpful! The views of the Pyramids from the restaurant and pool were incredible and worth the stay alone.
