Burgblick 1 Vosproperties Monschau located in the centre with sunny terrace

A beautiful authentic half-timbered house, completely renovated in 2018, right in the heart of the city center where you will find several bakeries, cafes and restaurants, with cosy sunny terrace. During the Christmas market period you literally walk through the Christmas market stalls from the house. Everything is within walking distance, including the most beautiful walks and bike rides around Monschau.

The house has 3 cosy bedrooms with comfy double beds and a 4th cosy bedroom with 2 seperate single beds but also with the option to have it as one double bed. The 3rd and 4th bedroom are connected, but can be separated with a door. In total for 8 persons.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven/microwave, refrigerator with freezer, induction hob and dishwasher.

There are 2 bathrooms and a second separate toilet. The first bathroom has a walk-in shower, a toilet and a single sink. The 2nd bathroom has also a walk-in shower and one sink.

On the 1st floor you find the very cosy living room with flat-screen TV and free Netflix and a basket full of board games.

You have a big parking less than 3 minutes walk away. Here you pay only 3 euros per day if you ask for a ticket at the tourist office. Or you can easily pay per hour or per day remotely with your mobile phone.

We also have a large communal bicycle shed for the 2 houses (Holiday House Burgblick 1 and Holiday House Burgblick 2) at the house where you can safely store several bicycles for free.

Beautiful traditional town house
You need to be aware of steps and stairs that would make this property not suitable for some. Stepped and sloped access to the principal entrance. Two steep stairs over 3 floors. A nice small rear terrace at FF level. For us it was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is well maintained well equipped and comfortable. Bathrooms are not on the bedroom levels but at principal entrance level. Again no problem for us and they were very well appointed. Nice kitchen diner at GF and generous lounge on the FF with Netflix.

Simply Amazing !!
We had an amazing time in Monshcau. The Burgblick 1 property was beautiful. Well appointed, with all the comforts of home, but still preserving the old world charm of the building. Communication with the hosts was great, although we honestly didn't need much from them. so glad to have found this gem. We hope to be back again some day.

The pictures don't do it justice. It is such a cozy, nice, welcoming VRBO. One of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. And the town of Monschau is simply charming!.

Die Lage, die Ausstattungen, die liebevolle Einrichtung, das alte Fachwerk gepaart mit Moderne...es war Wirklich ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig waren die vielen schmalen Treppen und Etagen, zwar super gemütlich aber für die weniger fitten Großeltern eine kleine Herausforderungen. Dennoch würden wir jederzeit wiederkommen

Tolles Fachwerkhaus/Toiletten (2x+2xDuschen)und Küche befanden sich im Erdgeschoss/1.OG 1Schlafzimmer (Doppelbett)+gemütliches Wohnzimmer(viele Spiele und Bücher)/2.OG 1Doppelzimmer+1x Durchgangszimmer(Doppelbett)+1Zimmer mit 2x Einzelbetten+Terasse mit Sitzbänken/Küche alles vorhanden ,Wärmeregler gut zu bedienen,Treppen abenteuerlich (bei körperlichen Gebrechen eher nicht zu empfehlen trotz Seil als Haltehilfe),für die Kids war es super!!!!Aus dem Haus direkt in Innenstadt mit Cafes und Boutiquen/Parken vorm Haus zum Ausladen ,dann in 3min Parkplatz in der Nähe/Man kann im Tourismusbüro ermäßigte Parktickets kaufen ,3 Euro pro Tag (sehr freundliche Dame),Straßen in Monschau sehr eng ,eher am Anfang ausladen ,Auto weg ,und am Ende des Urlaubs beladen/schöne Wanderrouten ,Erlebnismuseum toll für Kids,2 x Bäckereien vor der Haustür/Lebensmittel vorher kaufen ,zur Not in Biggis Laden(für Kleingkeiten)/alles in Allem ein schöner Urlaub

Die lage des haus in der altstadt ist optimal. Die beschreibung der ausstattung könnte besser sein. Die sanitären bereiche (Bad, WC) sind alle im EG, die schlafzimmer aber im OG und 2.OG. der gang nachts zum WC über die Treppen ist somit beschwerlich, zumal die treppen nicht einfach zu gehen sind, besonders für ältere Personen. Der altbau hat dabei seine Einschränkungen. Die höhe der türen zu den zimmern ist niedrig, sodass man mit 1,90m nur durch bücken sich nicht den kopf stösst. Die beschreibung der bäder ist irreführend. Es gibt ein Bad mit Dusche und WC, ein weiteres Bad mit Dusche und zusätzlich ein separates WC. Die Angabe von 3 Bäder ist nicht korrekt. Die küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Terrasse ist schön, konnte aber wegen des wetters abends nicht genutzt werden.
