This authentic half-timbered house (1913) in Monschau, the original caretaker's house has been transformed into a luxury apartment, taking into account the original features.

The apartment is located on the first and second floor and has a private entrance. On the first floor is the living room with TV, a CD player and DVD player, open kitchen with refrigerator, coffee maker, a dishwasher, a stove and a bathroom. The bathroom has a shower, sink, washing machine and toilet. About a staircase leads to the second floor where two double rooms are with wonderful box spring.
The apartment is not suitable for people with a disability.

Great location
Wonderful apartment in the lovely town of Monschau. Easy walking distance to the town and the nearby forest. The apartment is small but perfect for a couple or family of 4. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is the shower is small and I think there should be one more chair in the living area but overall a great place and I would highly recommend.

Prima plek aan de rand van de stad. Mijn gps stuurde mijn steeds door de stad terwijl dat eigenlijk verboden was. Een routebeschrijving op de site zou handig zijn geweest. Jammer is het dat je via de ene slaapkamer naar de andere toe moet.

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben..sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hatte für jedes Problem eine Lösung sowie gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Einziges Manko,die Terasse vor dem Haus war für uns nicht sehr gemütlich, hat aber nicht weiter gestört, da wir meistens unterwegs waren.

Mooie vakantiewoning met alles wat je nodig hebt. In de beschrijving staat dat er een wasmachine staat die stond er niet ,maar niet getreurd want dan hoeven we ook niet te wassen in de vakantie. Kleine tip, iets meer servicegoed,borden,bekers,bestek zou handig zijn zodat niet iedere dag de vaatwasser aanhoeft(scheelt weer energiekosten misschien) Verder heerlijke vakantie gehad,vol rust en mooie natuur

Es hat alles drumherum gepasst. Wir haben uns unfassbar wohl gefühlt und ich persönlich habe noch nie so gut in einer Ferienwohnung geschlafen. Auch die Umgebung ist magisch. Es war ein wundervoller Urlaub.

Die Wohnung ist so schön wie auf dem Bildern. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön zum wandern.
Der alte Flair des Hauses, hat schon was Besonderes. Die wohnung ist mollig warm und auch sehr gemühtlich. Die Schlafzimmer sind einen Stock höher . Die Treppe ist zwar sehr steil, aber war schon ok. Als minus Punkt. In den Schlafzimmern gibt es keinen Stuhl, für Wäsche ab zulegen und keine Kleiderstange für was aufzuhängen.

Einfach perfekt!
Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich super! Sowohl die Lage als auch die Ausstattung lassen keine Wünsche übrig. Am Rande von Monschau ruhig gelegen und doch so zentral dass man in ein paar Minuten im Zentrum ist. Als Ausgangspunkt für Erkundubgstouren in Monschau zu Fuß oder der Umgebung mit dem Auto. Mit unseren Kids (6,9) eine super Wohnung! Wir werden genau diese Wohnung wieder buchen, wenn wir nach Monschau kommen!
