Great house for two small families

We really enjoyed our stay. Good beds, two bathrooms, living area far away from the bedrooms (a plus when traveling with small children), well stocked kitchen, great surroundings. And a very friendly host!

Stilvoll renoviertes Bauernhaus aus dem 18. Jahrhundert

Super ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Kaminofen spendet wohlige Wärme. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ins Hohe Venn und Ausflüge nach Aachen usw.

Ons verblijf was goed, in het huis was alles aanwezig zelfs een lekkere hout kachel, het was alleen jammer dat er niet overal een gordijn hing

Karakteristieke en gezellige ruime woning

Wij hebben hier een mooie week beleefd. Er is veel te doen in de omgeving. Het wandelgebied De Hoge Venen ligt aan de overkant van de straat en kun je zo inlopen. Monschau is een lieflijk stadje. Vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaren. Het huis is een monumentaal sfeervol pand dat helemaal is opgeknapt met prima badkamers en uitstekende douches. De lage deurposten waren soms wel een obstakel voor ons, lange Nederlanders. De keuken is royaal uitgerust (helaas geen vriezer) en de woonkamer is gezellig en karakteristiek ingericht. Er lag veel informatie over de omgeving en er waren veel gezelschapspellen aanwezig. Minpunt is de ligging dichtbij een drukke provinciale weg, waardoor wij niet met de ramen open konden slapen. Bij twee slaapkamers was er geen raambedekking voor een paar ramen waardoor we handdoeken ervoor moesten hangen. Maar als je gewend bent bij licht te slapen (wij niet dus) is dat geen probleem. De ruime tuin (niet omzoomd) en binnenplaats zijn voor gezamenlijk gebruik met het vakantie-appartement dat ernaast is gelegen. Een mooie plek en goede uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen.

Kurzurlaub im Denkmal

Tolles Haus mit viel Charme. Sehr gute Ausstattung. Schöner Innenhof der auch zum grillen genutzt werden kann. Neuwertiger vernüftiger Kugelgrill (Kohle) vorhanden.Unterstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder gegeben. In 50m Entfernung, auf der gegenüberliegender Strassenseite, läuft der Venn-Radweg der ideal zum Radfahren und Wandern geeignet ist. Sehr freundliche und nette Vermieter. Wir hatten dort tolle Tage und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Im Haus alles da und unkomplizierter Umgang mit dem Vermieter. Ein Zimmer war ein Durchgangszimmer, was wir aber dann nicht brauchten.

Kurzurlaub mit Kindern

Wir hatten einige sehr schöne Tage, haben uns in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt, es war ein bisschen wie Ankommen bei Muttern. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, wenn nicht, wird vom Vermieter sofort Abhilfe geschaffen. Wir hatten ein kleines Malheur, Kind hat aus Übermut etwas beschädigt - das konnte unkompliziert geregelt werden. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt. Danke noch einmal für die leckere Marmelade und den Begrüßungswein.

Ostern an der belgischen Grenze

Wir haben über Ostern 3 schöne Tage in Konzen verbracht und die Zeit im Baudenkmäler sehr genossen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, am Ostersonntag bekamen wir Ostereier und Hefezopf überreicht. Vielen Dank!

Wohnen im denkmalgeschützten Haus

4 Erwachsene 3 Kinder zwischen 8 und 11. Toll eingerichtetes denkmalgeschütztes altes Bauernhaus von 1774. Niedrige Decken und Türen waren am ersten Tag eine Herausforderung, haben uns schnell daran gewöhnt. Gute Lage des Hauses, alles liebevoll ausgestattet. Sauber, nette Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Bäder gut ausgestattet, Betten bequem. Alles so wie es sein sollte.

Kurzurlaub mit Zeitreise

Ein tolles altes Bauernhaus mit viel Flair. Nette Begrüßung des Gastgebers, der immer erreichbar war. Im Haus ist alles Vorhanden was man benötigt. Besonders genießen konnten wir das schöne Wetter im tollen Innenhof. Hier stand uns ein großer Tisch zur Verfügung, der ausreichend Platz zum Essen und spielen für alle acht Personen bot. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Guter Stützpunkt ins Hohe Venn

In einem originellen Ambiente "Wohnen im Denkmal" haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der ehemalige Bauernhof hat zwar niedrige Türen, der Umgang damit gehört aber zur Atmosphäre einer behutsamen und wunderbaren Sanierung. Alles ist großzügig inklusive einladendem Innenhof. Besonders hat uns gefallen, das Hohe Venn direkt über die ebenfalls am Haus vorbei verlaufende tolle Trasse der Vennbahn zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vielen Dank. Es war ein schöner Eifelaufenthalt.

Schön war es

Sehr nette Vermieter. Ein schönes altes Häuschen, mit Decken und Türhöhen an die man sich erst einmal gewöhnen muss. Eine überaus gut bis hin zur unübersichtlichkeit bestückten Küche. Trotz alle dem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, und können Haus und Umgebung nur einen dicken Daumen nach oben geben.

Schöner Ausgangspunkt für sportliche und kulturelle Ausflüge

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub mit der Familie. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung vom Haus gibt es tolle Wanderwege. Durch die gute Verkehrsanbindung erreicht man schnell und bequem viele schöne Ziele. Der Rursee und auch das nahegelegenen Monschau sind absolute Highlights. Das Haus ist ganz gemütlich und mit vielen schönen alten Gegenständen dekoriert, die Betten sind modern und bequem. Einige schmerzhafte Zusammenstöße mit den niedrigen Türrahmen und Balken waren leider auch dabei. Der Hof und den Garten sind sehr gepflegt.
