"The layout was very nice and it was in a very walkable area. However, the property wasn't secure. The door was left unlocked and that was a little unsettling. The place was spacious and fit me and my family very well. However, I'd read on previous ratings that the owner doesn't answer. The owner didn't answer any of my messages prior to the trip or during. I thought that was odd.
For example, it would've been helpful to know what we do with the towels when leaving or if we were required to...

"Overall, my family and I had a good stay at this apartment. The location is convenient, and the place is large and decently equipped. However, a few things put a damper on our time: First—beyond what is a typical short-term rental experience of things like baseboards and walls being dirty—it seemed like some larger things had been missed when cleaning between guests (e.g. the couch having food and other debris in it). The host was very quick to respond when we reached out to ask about a vacuum...
