"Charming little cottage in serene location but also conveniently located close to shops in nearby villages. The cottage itself is cozy, perfect for 2 people with everything one needs to prepare quick and easy meals. The exterior grounds and garden are inviting and very relaxing. A great little piece of Provence! The hostess, Waleria, is very attentive and responsive to inquiries and very pleasant as well. A great stay - would return!"

"On se sent comme chez soi dans la maison, les meubles sont modernes, design et la cuisine est moderne et très lumineuse. Nous avons aussi apprécié la literie et la salle de bain incluse dans chaque chambre. Maison et piscine sans vis-à-vis au calme. Donc repos absolu. Nous reviendrons très prochainement. "I checked this morning, and the property is still shown as being in Vaison La Romaine, still claims to be a short walk from the sights of Vaison, and the map show this to be the case. However, this is a total LIE. The house is in Saint Maurice sur Eygues, which is more than 15mins from Vaision by Car. The owner was quick to offer us 100 euros (so he obviously knew) but this didn't cover the cost of us staying in Vaison for two nights to spend time with the friends we were supposed to meet there....

"The property was clean and tidy, with a lovely outdoor terrace. The pool was a welcome relief from the scorching temperatures, and after a hot day sightseeing it was lovely to take a refreshing dip. The gite is located an easy 10 minute amble into Vaison - a bustling market town with all the facilities one could need. There are some quirks - there is only one loo, which is downstairs whilst the shower room is upstairs. There is also no wash hand basin in the loo. Also, the VRBO listing states...

"Nous étions 16 de 8 à 70 ans. La demeure est spacieuse. Chacun peu trouver un espace sans gêner l’autre. L’hôte est très réactif et très accueillant. Nous avons adorés de pouvoir partir de la maison à pieds pour faire nos balades."

" The property is in an excellent location in a very quiet area on the edge of the town but still only a 15 minute stroll to the centre. Vaison is lovely with lots of restaurants (Fred’s Bistro is excellent) and a great weekly market. We had a warm welcome from Michel and his wife and had 3 great weeks in the accommodation There are miles of walks along quiet roads lined with grape vines All in all a great place to stay"

"We stayed in the property as a group of four friends on a cycling trip. The property was perfect for us, close to the centre of Malaucene which is a nice town with good restaurants and bars. The host was really helpful and friendly. We hired bikes in the town and it was a great base for our trip."

"We had a wonderful week staying in this beautiful place. Mr and Mrs Guichard were so welcoming, friendly and helpful and the house was utterly charming and well equipped with everything we needed. "This is a stylish, well equipped house with very comfortable beds and sofas. There is great space outside for relaxing next to the pool. It is in a great location for the local climbing, cycling and walking and a short drive to Buis Les Baronnies. We also enjoyed a great meal at the local restaurant at the bottom of the hill. The owners of the house had helpfully left maps and climbing/walking guides for guests to use. We had a fabulous week here and would highly recommend it!"

"Une semaine passée dans cette jolie maison avec un accueil très sympathique de Gaelle. Malheureusement l'extérieur est très décevant. Une petite terrasse grillagée, avec des cailloux salissant, une petite piscine entourée de grillage, dans un autre enclos et des maisons tout autour..., quelques arbres.....Je regrette cette location mais heureusement nous avons apprécié les villages médiévaux, la rivière, les balades....La région."
