Staff were great, there's free parking and the room was clean and had air conditioning. A bit further out of Lille but close to the metro and the newly developed Gare Saint Saveur.

It’s a beautiful building and an exceptional location. But I struggle to see how this can be a 4 star. The carpet on the rooms is very very old and stained, the bed sheets are so short that they keep moving about and you end up sleeping on the raw mattress, and the air dryier is one of those wall mounted ones - which I don’t think I have ever seen in a 4 star. I asked whether I could get a normal plug-to-wall one but I was told no (I’m not the most kind of manners)

"The family that runs this hotel are the kindness people. They are the new owners and have done everything they can to provide the hotel with a fresh start. They were attentive, friendly, provided superior customer service and delightful. We were so lucky to have stumbled upon this place."
