"We enjoyed our time at this cozy house in the redwoods of Monte Rio. The place was clean, quiet, and had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The deck was a nice spot to relax, and the location made it easy to get to the river and nearby trails.Overall, a pleasant and easy stay. We defiantly plan on coming back."

"The property didn’t give directions on how to properly enter the code to open the door. We had to talk to another person staying in the property to give us the trick to entering the code in the keypad. Additionally, we kept requesting extra pillows with no success after playing phone tag with missed calls and unanswered messages. Room was clean at least and the property is in a quiet, secluded location."

"The hotel itself was lovely. Nice location, must be especially fun in the summer for the river swimming. As it was, there was no hot tub as shown in the listing and on the website. Additionally, the second night we were there someone was pounding on the front door--violently--for about 10 minutes. It was pretty scary. "

"The place is dirty. There is no hot tub. There are no fire pits. There was a huge stain on our carpet. We got there, walked in our room, walked down to the river, walked back to our room and then left. Dont be fooled by the photos, this place is a dump. BAIT AND SWITCH"
