The location is idea for access along the coast, winery tours shopping and restaurants and is extremely private and quiet.We would highly recommend this accommodation and will certainly be using it again on our next trip that way. "Wow - truly a unique luxury accommodation with amazing views. It was a little pricier than what we normally spend, but oh so worth it. The online pictures do not do the property justice - even our own photos could not accurately show the highlights. It was only minutes from waterfront shops and restaurants. We highly recommended Rimu with the wine tasting trees and awesome wood fired pizza. The property is also fairly close to the water taxis that will take you to great hikes at Abel Tasman. Our expectations were exceeded!"

"St Arnaud is a lovely location and the property is also conveniently located. The property is comfortable enough but is neither fish nor fowl. It is better than a basic kiwi bach but not really up to the standard of a holiday home. It seems a bit expensive for what it is - I found the dirty windows, cobwebs and threadbare carpet a bit too rustic. The house needs some maintenance. "

"4x4 Vehicle access only unless you want to carry your bags 300m, including over a 50m 2 x plank & wire swing bridge. This is not in listing. Host has a 2 person seater 4x4 & said he only offers rides for 3+ night bookings & complained doing this for visitors damages his vehicle! When he reluctantly offered a lift out as I had a broken ankle & we commented that we felt he was prioritising his vehicle over us, there was no apology for the inconvenience, just a tirade of abuse as he started swearing & using very personal & rude profanities. Note check in time was advertised as 11 am but he was adamant we should be "off his property by 10 am". A beautiful property spoiled by terrible host."

"Mel and Ben were amazing hosts, and their beautiful property was well equipped for our family's needs whilst on holiday. The location of their home was amazing, with only a twenty-minute drive to Kaiteriteri and an 8 minute drive to Mapua.
