"I can totally recommend Hillside apartments at Clare. They are clean with a modern design and close to the town which is an easy stroll to restaurants and shops. Self check-in is also a convenient bonus."

Glen Morris, Wuthering Heights ~ Dog friendly

"What a amazing place to be with nature. From the Kangaroos and Kookaburra's to the Owl watching us around the firepit was amazing. The breakfast provisions left for us were delicious. Glen Morris Cottage was quaint and rustic with multiple heating options for chilly nights, comfortable beds and a great spot to drink your coffee on the front porch. Very dog friendly and we enjoyed lovely walks around the property. Definitely will be back."

One bedroom cottage in the beautiful Clare Valley

One bedroom cottage in the beautiful Clare Valley

8/10 Good
"The cottage itself was great. It is in a good location and had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the owners are poor communicators however. We were not advised of the check-in details 3 days prior to arrival, as stated in our booking confirmation. They said they would email the information. They didn’t. They said they would ring us. They didn’t. We had to ring them, more than once, and finally received the key lock box code hours after the check in time. Not knowing if we had a place to sleep for 2 nights, which was prepaid, caused us unnecessary stress and anxiety. We had only just arrived in the country that day and have never been in a situation like this before."

10/10 Excellent
"We had such a lovely weekend at Ernie’s Acre. The house was lovely, spacious and really clean, and it was the perfect place to switch off and relax. We loved the outdoor space and I particularly enjoyed wandering around the garden, reading about what was planted and where. The views from the deck were beautiful too.It was also fantastic for our Greyhound. The garden was secure, so she could safely explore and have plenty of room for her zoomies — she absolutely loved it!The house had everything we needed, and the bath was a lovely bonus. It was also so nice to have cool evenings while we were there and be able to light the fire and enjoy the fireplace. We were really surprised and grateful to find breakfast supplies waiting for us for our first morning — bacon, eggs, spinach, juice, milk, bread, butter and jams. Such a thoughtful touch, and it gave us a great start to the day before heading off for a walk along the Riesling Trail and exploring some of the local wineries.Sue was lovely to deal with — very welcoming and responsive. We definitely came home feeling like we'd actually had a proper break. We would absolutely stay again, and next time we'd love to stay for longer. A great spot, especially if you're travelling with a dog."
