"This was the second time we’ve stayed here for a weekend while visiting family. It’s a great location, right in downtown Davis. The unit itself is small but clean and comfortable. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped, but small, so I wouldn’t want to cook anything more than a fairly basic meal in it. Although the unit sleeps 4, I think it’s ideal for 2 people and more than that would be tight (the table seats 2 for example). We would have no hesitation in staying here again. "

"We had a very nice stay. The cabin is exactly as advertised (except it now has a full-size refrigerator). It is clean, the location is terrific with nice surroundings and easy access to nearby activities. Also there is access to a nice swimming pool and mini-golf. The hosts were very attentive and we would definitely stay here again. "

"A MUST STAY!! The Fox Den is by far one of the best places we have stayed! The attention to detail is amazing! The place seems as if it is brand new! Kitchen has everything you need, bathroom is well stocked and spacious and the beds are so comfy that I am planning on contacting the host for the brand! Loved playing PAC-Man and the outside area is a ton of fun!! We will definitely be staying here next time we are in town to see a show at the Purple Fiddle! "

"Our stay for this visit was good, the only issue was the AC. It was working however it was warm the entire stay. I think the coolest it got was 74 in the cabin. We are not sure if this was due to the weather being warmer than it was last year when we stayed. Other than this the cabin is nice ."

"This was definitely an experience very relax and a comfortable atmosphere the kids loved the games and toys that were included. I absolutely enjoyed cooking in a spacious kitchen. I appreciated how Veronica wrote in detail In the welcome booklet what was around the town restaurants, waterfalls, outdoor activities. This was definitely a trip far from home but worth it. "Rest Assured cabin in Big Bear Resort was absolutely perfect! We love to mountain bike and the Chris Cowley trail was exactly 1 mile from the cabin. This magnificent trail ended on Camp 70 Road where many of the famous Davis trails start including Hoodoo and Moon Rocks. When we were not out mountain biking, we were enjoying many amenities of the resort including the recently renovated pool and 9 holes of mini golf. The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. The cabin itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay top notch. This is a pet friendly cabin and our 2 dogs enjoyed many walks on the trail around the resort and they enjoyed finding a sunny spot on the porch to rest in the great setting. The host of the property is attentive and communicative. There was not one negative thing about our 5 day stay! We made great memories and truly hope to return again!"

"I took a 3 day motorcycle trip to the VRBO and the views on the way were amazing. Got into town and loaded up on some groceries and settled into the small beautiful industrial home. This property is my dream home. Edison bulbs, beautiful balcony, fire pit, windows that open for a breakfast bar, etc. it’s simply amazing. Neighbors are friendly and I didn’t feel uncomfortable leaving my motorcycle out front the house. The views, trails and peace and quiet are nothing short of amazing. I plan on coming back to this property in the winter.The property management company was so easy to work with, polite and very responsive. As for the cleanliness, place was spotless when I entered. Again, cannot wait to return!"

"Lovely location. Comfortable stay. The house does not have AC and I missed that detail during booking but with the windows open and fans provided, it was comfortable. Great views. Kids loved the games and puzzles provided. Definitely need 4wd in snow but perfectly fine gravel road in summer for any car with normal clearance. "

"My wife, son and me very much so enjoyed this home! It's thoughtfully and intuitively equipped/arranged to be super family and kid-friendly with nice touches for the furry family if you so choose. There's tons of natural lighting, a nice open kitchen/living space and roomy bedrooms. The front porch and fenced in yard were a Godsend for our son to just free range it as he wished.My only input would be to perhaps have a small, three-drawer dresser in the queen bedroom since there was no closet. In addition, the home was listed as having AC when just the master bed had a floor unit set up for the warm months. There were two days where the inside temperature was 77 and 78 degrees, respectively - bit warm and humid but ceiling fans and open windows helped take the edge off.All in all, a wonderful, clean spot to stay close to everything Davis has to offer - did I mention it was the perfect spot for the Canaan MTB Festival?? We'll be back!"

"Well equipped cozy cabin on a resort with plenty to keep the family busy. Free mini golf, pickleball court, and basketball. 10 minute access to Davis and Thomas. Wildlife refuge visitors center and Canaan state park 10 minutes in the other direction. Endless trail opportunities throughout. Simply everything you need right there. "

"Very clean property and everything we needed was there. Very easy check in and out process. Convenient location to Blackwater Falls and cute shops, galleries, and eateries within a couple minutes. Grocery store and convenience store are close as well. We stayed with our two boys, two dogs, and in-laws. The space was cozy, but plenty of seating and space to separate when we needed it. I would recommend this location and would happily stay again."

With a well-stocked kitchen, roomy living area and bedrooms, fireplace and wood stove, and fun indoor pool/poker table/skee ball available, the house suited the chilly mornings and evenings in mid-March. The location allowed us to explore interesting places/restaurants in Davis, Thomas, Blackwater Falls area, and Timberline Mt. We found Yeti’s Den the perfect central spot for family members from three states to meet and make new memories!"
