“We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door. Our king room was in the 2 story building, on the top floor. On the day of our arrival, we got the assigned room number and an access code for the door. “We had a house fire last February, and we were so fortunate to get to stay in the condo for the last 9 mos. They had everything we needed. The owner Stacey was so wonderful to work with the condo manager always made sure we had anything we needed. ”

It was also very well stocked with everything our family needed, which made the stay easy and comfortable.The host went above and beyond by setting up a Christmas tree and holiday décor, which made it feel warm, welcoming, and like home during the holidays.
