Thunderhead
We have lived in Oregon and know the area well. The Thunderhead isn’t as posh as some Places and the building in general has a few leaks and squeaks but the pool is awesome, the price is good and the location, although slightly further than directly in town, is great with Mtn biking out the back. The condo is small but exactly as billed. They have installed storage for personal Items which is appreciated. The kitchen is well appointed with someone who actually cooks clearly picking out items. The only issue was initial communication (no email but responded promptly by text for codes to get in) and a faulty sliding door. Hood can be Hot in the summer on some days and we had very high temps with a sliding door that doesn’t function and only a small window. It was oppressively hot in there for a family who rafts in triple digits In the desert for fun.... The initial responses from the owner were curt and unfriendly blaming the HOA stating that it was a new problem and their responsibility. There were laminated signs on the fridge, door, and the guidebook so it clearly was a known issue. At first the communication was the offer of a partial refund and eviction. Housing is tight the day of on Hood during summer race season, particularly this year with Covid, so this was a pretty unfriendly response. To their credit, though, they contacted us directly a few days later and offered a fan, let us try the door (which if gentle had no issues) and apologized. I think these are responsible owners (particularly the lady who contacted us) but I think it lent credence to prior experiences in reviews. I sincerely appreciated the fan, appreciated the stay but would say that as a customer I would caution caustic responses initially to simple requests. I would also advise others to inquire if these repairs were made (either by the owner or the hoa) prior to staying again.

Cute Ski Lodge Condo
It had everything we needed. Comfortable set up.

5/5 Excellent

Very clean condo
Had a great stay at the condo even though it was super warm. Couldn't use the sliding glass door since it was broken. But luckily there were a couple fans which helped cool things off. Easy check in and check out and good communication from owner.
