Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and had all the usual amenities expected. I didn't eat so can't comment on the food.

Great location close to city centre

Pros: Friendly, comfortable, swimming pool
Stayed here for a short break for the Christmas markets. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Expensive breakfast but there are alternatives a short walk away.

Nice hotel, very close to the main railway station

Pros: Very convenient location, pleasant staff, nice clean room, swimming pool and sauna.
Cons: Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Location: Very convenient for the main railway station with excellent overhead and underground connectivity. Old Town is within easy walking distance.
Very nice hotel, situated very conveniently close to the main railway station and within easy walking distance of the old town and other attractions. Pleasant and helpful staff in all aspects of the hotel, from reception, bar staff to room cleaners. The room was very nice, a good size and very clean with lots of towels and toiletries. Made use of the swimming pool and sauna which were relaxing after a hard days walking and sightseeing. Piano bar was a nice drop-off point coming back to the hotel. I consider it to be good value for money given its quality and location.

Great for city break

Hotel was very aesthetically pleasing. Easy to get around to catch the U-bahn. Only downside was that it wasn't a double bed, just two singles pushed together. I had the impression it would be a double bed. Overall pleased with this hotel and their facilities.

Never again The mattress springs were worn out and I caved in Breakfast prices: Something to let everybody know, continental breakfast Euros 9.90 consist of a cup of coffee, croisant and marmelade Or if you want to have a normal breakfast you can choose from a great variety BUT......be ready to spend Euros 24.90 UNBELUEVABLE Last drop in the glass: we checked out 8,30 am, everybody will agree this is a normal time to leave the room. Good, however out of 3 elevators ONLY 1 was working, we had to wait 10 minutes to go down Receptionist said they were waiting for the technician to put them back to work I say B...S...., they just want to save enerfy at the expenses of passengers NEVER AGAIN

Nice hotel

I would stay there again if I could. It’s close to pretty much everything. Only thing it’s they don’t stream nothing in English so whenever you just want to relax it’s pretty boring unless you know German.

Perfect for the In and Out Traveler

Pros: Easy access to mass transit and tourist areas
Cons: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE indicate the type of shower the room has when booking
Location: You can get on a train and go anywhere
This is my 5th time staying in Munich. Stayed here for 4 nights while at Oktoberfest. Hotel is just across the street from the main train station. Hotel staff is very friendly and worked with me on an issue I was having at check-in: THANK YOU SO MUCH! Stayed on the 6th floor so I think because of the roof, my superior double room did not have a shower but a tub with a wand that was too short for me to use - I'm 5'9" - and I couldn't stand up fully due to the angle in the ceiling. While it was manageable, I should have requested to change rooms because it was not a comfortable experience in the long run. Beds do the job but the pillows were flat and not supportive. While the room did have a thermostat, it never felt like it really worked. Needed to open the windows to stay cool in the room. All in all, good deal for the trip and fit our needs.

Great base of operations in Munich

Pros: Excellent location. Nice clean hotel. Nice to have a bar on the lobby level.
Cons: The neighborhood is a bit seedy, but you can't change that.
Location: Excellent for Oktoberfest, train station, tour pickup, restaurants, and shopping.
This hotel was less than a block away from the main train station in Munich. It was 5-6 blocks from the Oktoberfest grounds, and a 10-15 minute walk to the Marionplatz shopping district. If you want to hook up with a variety of tour companies, a number of them pick up near the south end of the rail station, another big plus. The hotel itself is in a somewhat seedy area, with lots of guys just hanging out on the sidewalks, but they posed no issue for our family. There are also a fair number of street beggars with various physical maladies. Since the hotel is set back off the street, it gives a feel of greater security. Overall, we'd stay here again because it was such a great base of operation and a quality property with a helpful and friendly staff.

No coffee or tea making facilities

Pros: Close to the train station.
Location: This hotel was close to train station, but there are a lot of other hotels which are close too.
There were no coffee or tea making facilities at all. District sees you bumping into customers from the strip lounges next door, drinking beer on the pavement, when you leave for a walk, even in the morning at 9.30a.m. Mini bar staff came into our room whilst we were there, without knocking, then realized we were there, departed still saying nothing, then left our room door wide open. I had to ask Reception staff who it was that entered our room. Simply not good enough.
