Fully equipped with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and coffee options including a brand new Nespresso Machine, coffee plunger and milk frother. Pantry basics, herbs, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, tea, and hot chocolate are all provided. Help yourself. This is your home away from home.

We’re close to the local train station, making arrival by train from Sydney easy (approx. 4.5 hours, $40–$60). Please note: freight and passenger trains do pass regularly — a small reminder you’re in the heart of a working country town.

Pets are welcome (just not on beds or sofas), and no smoking indoors, please.

Charming dog friendly cottage

Wonderful stop over on our road trip. House was nicely renovated. The town was lovely and pubs were dog friendly too.

Relaxing Easter weekend

The cottage was clean and inviting. All the amenities you need for a relaxing get away. The yard was perfect for our dog to exercise and explore. An excellent weekend was had by all.

Home away from home! Warm and cosy character cottage with our every need anticipated. The kitchen was well stocked (with all the necessary appliances) and the bathroom immaculate. Lovely part of the world

Thank you for introducing us to beautiful Murrurundi. The house was comfortable and beautifully furnished with everything we needed. Plenty of heating to keep us snug. We loved that there were lots of options for walks, some with dogs. A note for fellow dog owners that the garden is not really fenced so you either need to keep your dog on a leash or have very good recall. Ours were more than happy to spend most of their time in with us. We all enjoyed sitting on the front veranda with a coffee in the sunshine looking out at the town and mountains.
