Updates needed before "luxurious" can be said-My 1st and last stay...
There were WAY too many rules from the owner. Had I known prior, I wouldn't have booked. The list gave me anxiety. You could be charged for the smallest thing- if you don’t reset tv settings, don’t empty your trash, don't wash your dishes, don't empty the trash, don't hang towels, leave food in the fridge...just passing along fees b/c they don't want to pay their cleaners extra. I didn't ask you to own a property, why am I being charged. I will not disrespect any space. To me, the list makes me think they have been burned in the past by renters, plus they like to nickel and dime their renters. Check in wasn’t until 4pm, and then you have to check out at 10am! I feel cheated, lol. Later check ins/outs come with an additional fee. There definitely needs to be repairs/updates made before the word "luxurious" should be used. Worn/damaged areas seen inside of the unit like chipping/peeling paint on the walls and the trimming along the baseboards. Furnishing in the bedroom needs to be updated. The mattresses need to be replaced asap. Both were sunken in the middle, like a taco if you will. The tv in the bedroom needs to be updated. There were two rinsing stations by the pool, only one worked. The one that did work it only worked at the bottom. One of the hot tubs was out of order and poorly roped off. When I messages about the inoperable things outside, I was told they had no control over those areas that HOA handles those issues. They should contact their HOA quickly then...

Great view of the ocean
I enjoyed my stay in Myrtle beach. The balcony had a great view of the ocean. The place was located close in proximity to restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again.

Great spot on the ocean
Property was as advertised. Only drawback was not quite as clean as we would have liked as the cleaners don't seem to pull things away and clean. Ie between appliances. Great communication, awesome spot on the ocean, and we had all the things we needed and expected.

Not what I was expecting
My husband and I stayed this past weekend, Jan 6-8 2023. My stay this weekend left a bit to be desired. For as much as it ended up costing me, I was not pleased. First was the shower/bathroom. That was the loudest shower I've ever seen. It was to the point that I was rushing to get in and get out. It was very loud when you turned the heat up. Also I couldn't tell if it was mold in the shower or not. On the string to hold the towels in the shower, had other people's hair on it. It just screamed dirty and unkept. Under the sink was someone's trash and the toilet seat looked like it had many miles on it. Second was the Kitchen/Livingroom. The kitchen stove looked like it was going to fall apart. Too worried about functionality to even attempt to use it. The dishwasher has rust all over the front. (It looked in order just not appealing to the eye). The sofa was horrible! Dry rotted badly. We didn't want to sit on it for fear of making it worse. The table felt unclean and dirty. The ceiling was nasty as well. I'm not sure what it was! Squished roach, fly, food......I don't know. Third was the Bedroom. The lamp by the first bed was a little iffy. Very wobbly and had a few holes in it. Unsightly to look at. The floors were not any better. Dirt and dust all around the edges. Making it look even dirtier. All in all, most of the stuff in the rooms looked like they were bought at a thrift store or picked up on the side of the road and thrown into the room. The cleaners need talking too because as much as they charge to clean, They should have done a much better job. Especially if they are going to charge me and the people before me cleaning fee. To put it bluntly, this room needs some serious help. Lastly, The amount of emails and text messages I received was unnecessary. Not only was it unnecessary but the amount of times I was told I would be charged if I did this and if I did that was crazy. For as many times as I was told that if I damage something, you would think this place would have been immaculate. After messaging the owners with my concerns and issues, all I got back from them was "verbatim" Hello, Michelle! Thank you for your feedback and we greatly appreciate it. I'll inform our team and we'll make sure to use it for our continuous growth and improve. Regards, Ahlex Big Fish Rentals. At least they could've offered the cleaning fee back. Not a fan of how they handled this situation.

This was a very unexpected getaway. BIG FISH RENTALS was a joy to work with thru VRBO. I simply entered my exact needs thru the filters on VRBO and BIG FISH had several properties with fair prices. They provided instant confirmation and contact less check in after hours. A very kind woman called to make sure I arrived and was able to get into my condo safely. Not to mention modified my reservation last minute so I was able to check in the night before. They were a pleasure to work with.

Property was not very clean. They did however, send someone over to try to get mold out of the bathtub. Ducktape is on curtains going out to balcony. Rust is on dishwasher, but we did not use it.

Not what I expected
This place could use a serious makeover! The carpet in the bedroom was filthy and stained. There was a blood stain on the pillow. The couch was gross. Shower was gross. The lobby to the elevators had a spilled milkshake left overnight, dirty tissues and Q-tips inside the elevator. It always stunk. The very small side table on the balcony was missing wood and had staples exposed. Save yourself the trouble, and stay somewhere else!!!

Nice location but definitely needs updates & a good clean
We stayed for a long weekend and we were not overly satisfied with this condo. The condo smelled like dirty feet the entire stay, there is mold growing in the shower, the back side of the curtains are covered in tape, and in general just not very clean. This condo could definitely use updates and a thorough deep clean. The resort it’s self was nice having access to both the beach and pool, however just like the condo, it could definitely use a deep clean. There were no floats for the lazy river, the light that goes in the pool sat on the edge of the pool the entire time we were there, and the hot tub was disgusting with gray water and trash floating in it.

Amazing View from the Balcony
The Ocean One Building is a little dated but the pool area is great especially the lazy River. The condo was clean except the cleaners had missed some dirty dishes in the dishwasher and the previous renters had put dishes away that were dirty. Julie was very responsive when this was communicated and offered to have the cleaners come back. We just washed all the dishes so it wasn’t a big deal. The condo is very comfortable and the kitchen worked well enough for making breakfast. The location is great and within walking distance of everything Myrtle Beach has to offer. There were lots of children and teens so beware of lots of noise at night. The pool closes at 10 pm but security doesn’t really make people leave until closer to 11pm. I definitely would consider coming again and you definitely can’t beat the amazing view of the ocean from the balcony.

Lovely setup needs to be cleaned more
For the amount of times you are told you will be charged for switching the TV settings, moving items, staining towels, etc. you’d think the cleanliness of this place would be immaculate, to say the least. Unfortunately that’s not what transpired; the room appeared to be haphazardly cleaned with dirty items discarded in the washer, vacuum heads and brush strewn around haphazardly in various closets, walls that were stained and in need of desperate washing, curtains they were patched up in several places, carpets and corners that do not appear to have been cleaned in several months, and tables and nightstands that were coated with dust. The burner on the right side did not work, the jets in the tub do not work, mold and mildew have begun to form in the edges of the ceiling over the tub, and not to mention the dryer and washer do not appear to have been washed. This place is in definite need of some loving and renovation as soon as possible. All that aside, the communication with various members was prompt. The location is perfect and the pool’s location in conjunction to the ocean is great. It truly is a viable position, adequately located from the boardwalk, a 10 minute walk to a Starbucks on the ocean’s front, and only 8 minutes from the airport.

I rented a 1 bedroom. Meet my expectations. Room was clean and stocked with Amenities. I was so pleased I extended my stay by 5 days. Found it to be close to everything. I highly recommend your next vacation be at Oceans One. Staff and management were helpful and friendly.

Thanksgiving Getaway
I would recommend this resort to my friends and will stay there again should I return to Myrtle Beach. Communication was great. Everything I needed to know was address in the emails sent to me. The unit itself was clean and comfortable and close to the boardwalk. We had a wonderful time.

Communication is key.
When I arrived, the first thing I saw was the view! It’s amazing. Having morning coffee on the deck and late night snacks watching the waves crash, amazing! There we’re just a couple of hiccups whenever I first arrived however, when I contacted the property manager they responded right away and it was addressed right away. They were in touch often to see how everything was and if I needed anything. They were detailed with all the instructions of anything I need to know which was so helpful because It didn’t leave a lot of questions and confusion about anything. It made everything very simple. Booking with people who you can easily get in touch with and who eagerly and happily respond, is so important and for that I give a thumbs up and will for sure book with them again!

First time stay...
Over all we enjoyed the trip. However the building and the room were a little more dated than we are used too. The location was good as it was pretty close to a lot of activity, restaurants and attractions. Hollywood Museum was pretty fun!!

Exactly the getaway we were looking for
I was looking for a place to celebrate my sons 30th birthday. This condo was perfect since it was just the two of us. (Although it certainly big enough to sleep 6) The view from the 4th floor was amazing. The location was great, close to awesome restaurants & bars as well as many other great places to visit.

Property overall was nice. The condo was well kept and comfortable. There were some issues with the doors and elevators to get into the complex. Hadn't been to Myrtle Beach before. Beach is nice and not overcrowded. Very touristy though. If you like the Myrtle Beach area, this is overall a nice stay.

404 was a beautiful space! Everything was so clean & well kept. You could tell it was newly remodeled. Washer/dryer was so convenient. Large tv in the livingroom (no issues at all with streaming Netflix). The balcony had the perfect view . Good location and Julie was so easy to get in touch with. The only (very minor) complaints I would have is that the property itself could use a little better upkeep. But it still wasn't bad at all. We would definitely come back next year!

This was a nice neat little condo in a great central location. It was clean and there were lots of towels provided, as well as a coffee maker, pots, pans, and dishes to make meals. There were a couple very minor issues - water leak on the floor and a lock keypad that had to be replaced. The property manager Julie was quick to address our concerns and did a good job handling everything. The heated pool was great and our 2 1/2 year old loved the kiddie pool area that had a small slide and splash area. Being able to walk right onto the beach was great too. Would consider staying again. Thanks!

The beach is my happy place!
We had a wonderful time in Myrtle Beach. The condo was just as pictured. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We enjoyed the beach and the pool being so close. Oceans One is in walking distance to lots of local bars and restaurants which is nice if you don't want to drive. It was so nice to walk on the beach each morning enjoying a cup of coffee. We love Myrtle Beach & we'll be back soon!

This room is beautiful. The beds are very very comfortable, which is always a huge plus. (Even the Murphy bed was really comfortable) The balcony is front and center and offers an amazing view. The jet bathtub and washer and dryer were vacation luxuries I didn’t realize I even needed, but they came in very handy. The resort is located in an awesome spot with a little amusement park for the kids across the street and a cute beach bar a hop skip and a jump away. There’s also a super fun dive bar called Pop’s a 5-minute walk away where they have karaoke every night. We were having so much fun we decided to stay another night, but in a different room owned by the same owner. This one was a 2 bedroom and is gorgeous as well. If you’re on the fence about booking this room, hop on off and book it. You won’t regret it.

Vacation Myrtle Beach #2
This was our second year in the Oceans One Resort. We find it to be a very good base of operations for a Myrtle Beach vacation. It has all of the comforts of home. Great beds, roomy living space, fantistic television (for those rainy days), and the kitchen and washer/dryer are great. If you add it all up you would be foolish to rent a motel.

Splendid vacation! Modern and luxurious oceanfront unit with updates galore
When you walk in, the first thing you notice is that the condo was very recently updated. The floors look magnificent, and the couch and chair are brand new. New Samsung refrigerator too! The room decor creates a perfect balance of contemporary and cozy beach feel we found very appealing. Our favorite part of the day was the evening sunset when the ocean horizon blended in perfectly with the living room colors. The photos barely do it justice. Come see for yourself, I highly recommend this 5-star unit.

Just as pictured, the view was beautiful.
We had a great time, and could not have asked for a better location. My only complaint is that the large burner on the stove top did not work, which made cooking a bit difficult. Also, the extra pillows provided had blood stains on them, but luckily we had brought our own.
