I was very surprised everything about the hotel seemed upgraded and new. A lot better than any motel 6. That's for sure

A lovely quaint place to stay with great wine and kind staff - would absolutely recommend. Most rooms additionally have a separated sitting room away from the bedroom which is a nice thing to have. Plus the ground are gorgeous and wandering around at sunset is amazing!

I really like the location of the Bard's Inn. It is very close to the main square in Ashland and all the restaurants and the theatre. That is the strongest point of the hotel, in my opinion. They have two chargers for electric cars, but there is no monitoring and non-electric cars park there, which is not good if you're trying to get a charge. It is nice that they offer breakfast, which is super basic, but yes, it's something... My room was the very basic one, with a king size bed and it was very clean and comfortable. With all that said, I paid $1,000 for 4 nights. I don't think the room I stayed in was worth that much. Yes, Ashland is sought after, specially at this time of the year, but again, $250/night for a very basic room is too much in my opinion.

Everything was great, the staff, the room, the location. We were happy to be able to walk the half mile into town. Would definitely stay here again.
