"Please note: The room was quiet and beds were particularly comfortable…Thankyou. I have sent a review this morning regarding the absence of a handbasin (or even a shelf for holding clothing before showering ) in the toilet/shower area. The review may not have reached you this morning, so if not - I spoke especially of the unsanitary situation of using the sink in the ‘kitchen’ area for washing hands following a toilet visit. This is a “clean area”- a place to make drinks, rinse/wash cutlery or crockery, - but is the same basin being used for cleaning teeth, spitting or washing hands after a toilet visit . Not good. I am shocked at this low standard and would not recommend your unit, nor return until a handbasin is provided in the toilet area. Health regulations would surely require that provision. Are they aware of this? Please improve your sanitation measures! Thankyou. Lorna Durrant. 13/8/25"

"Lovely hotel, exceptionally clean, chocolates and biscuits were a nice touch. Aircon heater in one of our rooms was slow to warm and noisy but otherwise everything was great. "

"Room was very homely & clean. Ample cutlery & crockery for 2. Nice smelling room too. Bed was good. Pillows ok. Never have an outstanding pillow no matter where i stay. I wasn't bothered by any highway traffic noise, even tho you are on the service road of the highway. Check in was easy & receptionist very helpful & cheerful. Overall a great little motel. Value for money. Will be on my go to when visiting the area again."

"The property was very nice but the only thing was the heating in the room. It was very hard to manage and it was not showing the correct temperature at all. You turned it off and on again and the temperature jumped 2 degrees "

"We had travelled over 5 hours for our stay here. The staff did a curtesy call just checking we were still doing a late check-in and we were travelling safely. As a mum with two daughters we felt safe and secure especially getting their later at night. We will stay again "

"We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we checked in. Our room was comfortable, nicely appointed and very clean. No hesitation in staying again. Excellent location."

"Structurally, it was a standard old-style 1960s motel room. It was clean and bright, and it happened to be well-heated ahead of our arrival on a very cold 2 degree night in June, and it was well-sealed, with no draughts. There were electric blankets on both beds in our twin room and spare blankets and pillows in the wardrobe. The beds were good and I slept better there than I had in weeks at home. There were cups, glasses and wine-glasses, and milk in the fridge. It was situated on the far edge of town, on the road to Meeniyan and was therefore very quiet, with little traffic driving past. It had a view over to the rolling hills that are so picturesque around here. The owner, Ian, was very easy to deal with."
