Highland adventures
This wonderful cozy cottage was the perfect location for our highland adventures. Easy to find, but out of the way! The home is nicely laid out. As Americans, use appliances,outlets, etc. differently . it would have been helpful to have critical switches labeled. For example we inadvertently turned off the kitchen refrigerator by turning its switch off. This switch was located along the wall, above the counter in the same places the light switched were located.

Everything you need
We instantely loved staying here. It has everything you need in a family holiday. We were very impressed. Cosy home, lovely rooms, brilliant games room,huge Garden, river at the back and in an incredible setting. Will definately be booking back in here!

A wonderful Whitsun week
Following a beautiful week staying at this property in October we couldn’t wait to make a return visit. A superb home from home. Very comfortable and so spacious. Fantastic large garden leading to the river - we had our evening meals outside. Particularly love the garden room.

We all have been very pleasantly surprised by this property. Such a great village and situation for the Cairngorms. Big plot, excellent sized rooms and all the amenities needed to have a wonderful stay. A week really isn't long enough. Would definitely return. Very dog friendly too. Hosts are great, as are the friendly neighbours.

Ideal house for 2 families
A lovely spacious homey house with a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom on both floors so ideal for 2 families sharing. The wood burner was very cosy. The upstairs shower was slightly temperamental temperature-wise. We loved reading and chatting in the garden room and the kids were thrilled with the games garage!

Perfect Christmas Getaway
First time travelling to Scotland and I think we chose the best possible home and location. The house was absolutely stunning both in size, location and ammenities. We felt right at home and the kids loved having their own rooms and the extra play equipment in the garage. The images of the garden dont do it justice and was lovely being so close to the river as well. Nethy Bridge is wonderful little village with a small Spar for essentials but otherwise perfectly located to see some of the Highlands. Inverness, Loch Ness, Aviemore and the Cairngorm Mountains all close by. We were lucky enough to have snow just after Christmas and the whole scenery was magical covered in snow. Thanks so much for opening your house to us.

Lovely & Spacious Accomodation
We really like our stay at this cottage. The cottage is very spacious and hosts all facilities. We really like the sun room and massive garden space. Everything was in order and would defo recommend this to anyone. God bless the owner and this cottage.

Everything we were looking for
We spent a great week in Nethybridge for our Easter holidays. The house had everything we needed and more, my 10-year-old particularly loved the swing in the garden and the table tennis and dart board in the garage. Don't miss the walk down the river into the village and we can highly recommend the Nethy House cafe. It's a great base for walkers and cyclists and we hope to visit again next year.

Went last year . Two families ;4 adults ,3 kids and a dog. Loved the house , it has everything you need and more. Huge garden and the lake behind was a bonus. Recommend to families ! We will definitely go back . The only downside was the cleanliness.

A peaceful winter break in beautiful region which I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
Due to Covid requirements, the airing of the house during a cold snap is a bit of a shock when you first enter. The house took a while to warm but once warm held the heat quite well. There are a few small maintenance jobs needed and some appliances defective but this doesn't deflect from what is a comfortable house, ideal as a base for exploring the Scottish Highlands

Superb Family Getaway, Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay here. Although there were just 4 of us, it could have slept 8 comfortably. Spacious accommodation overall although kitchen area a bit tight for cooking Xmas dinner! We presumed the home owner uses the accommodation themselves is it was very well kitted out in the kitchen. Could have done with a couple of empty cupboards though for all our food so we shuffled things around a bit to create storage space. We were even able to use the sun room after our snowy mountain walks when the sun heated it that day. We did light the stove for winter cosiness. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and we would re book if ever back in this area which is just gorgeous. We were lucky with crisp bright winter weather with snowcapped mountains!

A great property for family or friends. A good location with walks from the door. Large garden with big sunny conservatory, could just sit there all day with a good book. Family holiday in Cairngorms
This property perfectly suited our needs - the location, room layout, playroom (especially the darts!), garden and river were all great. Weather for us was also superb, and we enjoyed walks in the Cairngorms, forest bike rides and paddle boarding at Loch Morlich. Our communication with the landlord was especially excellent. Thanks for a very happy memorable holiday :)

The house was in a good location, it was clean and spacious with a large garden for the dog. The only complaint was the condition of the sofas in the lounge which were uncomfortable due to wear and were completely unsuitable for my pregnant daughter or anyone with a back condition.

We had a fantastic time thank you! The swings and slide in the garden were a great addition for our 6 year old. Lots of books dvds and games to keep us occupied on rainy nights. Lovely walks into nethy bridge (about 1 mile) chacek out the fish and chip van on a Monday night! Everything you could possibly need at this lovely house. Thank you for a great stay

Family holiday in Nethy Bridge
Lovely property with amazing sun room. Immediate access down to the nearby riverbank was loved by the kids. Perfectly located for family adventures in the surrounding area (i.e. Rothiemurchus, Loch Morlich, Abernethy Forest, Highland Wildlife Park, etc). Definitely recommended.

Stunning location and lovely house
Nethy Bridge is an excellent base for exploring the area by bike, foot or car. Lots available to do locally and slightly further afield too. This house was perfect for our family with four bedrooms. Two double two twin. One double on the GF with a low step in shower suitable for someone with reduced mobility. Huge private garden that goes down to the river, well fenced for kids & with play equipment. Wood burner with stock pile of wood for cold nights, super kitchen with everything you need including spices! Games room was a big highlight with my kids. Only issue was the towels That were neatly folded on the beds were all actually still damp. No tumble drier so had to hang them up on the indoor lines till they were dry enough to use.

A roomy and comfortable property. Ample for our six adults and two children. Wonderful weather meant that we could make full use of the large garden and conservatory and three fridges meant that we weren’t thirsty in the heat! Property is in a lovely location and very quiet. House is very well stocked with all the essentials you would need. Great walks from the house into Nethy Forest and along the river. Farm shop in Nethy is definitely worth a look. Had a great holiday, hopefully will return.

Good location
Last minute booking for a family get together. Good location with a garden backing on to the river where the children had lots of fun. Only gripe is that we feel that a little more attention could be paid to the standard of clean.

Good family house with great garden and location
As someone who has managed a holiday house note comments. Spacious house suitable for family and young children. A bit tired and some items need upgrading/ replacing e.g. chipped crockery and hearth rug with burn marks. For example downstairs double bed had a small mattress cover and sheet which did not stretch over the mattress. Quilts are winter weight for cold weather and need a summer alternative. Upstairs gets very hot at night even with windows open. Random items in low cupboard and drawer in the utility room should be locked as diy items, cleaning materials and left over alcohol etc. are dangerous for children! A good clear out is needed including tatty coat hangers in the wardrobes. Also more pegs for drying washing outside would be appreciated.

Great family get away
Ian was very accommodating as we ended up having to rearrange our dates and this was greatly appreciated. We were disappointed that the swing set was not serviceable and prior occupants had left some mess in the back garden, but the location, cleanliness of the home itself and the amenities were great!

Great stay! Our family really enjoyed the holiday, the house was spacious and comfortable and met all our needs throughout our stay. Fabulous Holiday Home
The holiday home is in a fabulous location quiet and peaceful the garden is massive our little dogs loved it, Pop over the style at the bottom of the garden and it takes you to a lovely little walk by the river !! The house itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The sunroom became our favourite place to sit and relax after a day of sight seeing. We have stayed in Nethybridge a few times as it's such a pretty village it has a Spar Shop that stocks most items you would need and on Monday nights a chip van parks outside the Spar and the fish n chips from there are delicious !! The local butchers/farm shop sells lovely meat , and an assortment of different sauces etc We also visited Nethy House Cafe the food they serve is amazing and the bonus being they allow dogs !! Having stayed in various accommodation in Nethybridge I would have to say this one is the best and wouldn't hesitate to book again for next year !!

Good Location.
Very nice house, good and quite area. Lovely big garden if you have children. House has a games room with Table Tennis, Table Football and a Darts Board. Lovely Woods to Walk in, and good fishing. A lovely walk along the river to the shop, which caters everything you need. A mobile Fish and Chip van is outside the shop on Mondays, and they are excellent. The Hotel in the village has 2 full size Snooker Tables which you can play on and a Putting Green opposite the Hotel. Would definitely recommend this House to stay in to anyone, and would go back next time on a Holiday to Scotland.

This property was absolutely perfect for our three generation fanily holiday. It was particularly good that my 90 year old mother had a super downstairs room with an en suite.-perfect for her. The garden was great for our wee dog as it was securely fenced all roun. We will definitely be keen to visit again.

A little T.L.C. required
A lovely property in a great location. Overall we had a fantastic time here. The details in the property could do with a little TLC after what I expect has been a busy season. The oven was filthy and so was a lot of the kitchen ware. Some other areas also need attention ie: conservatory door lock is broken and wont open, smoke alarm missing in downstairs hall, bedroom tv's either don't work or have no signal, bedroom lightshade and table tennis bat are broken. The wooden climbing frame is rotten in parts and the swing is dangerous to use.

Wonderful property
We had a wonderful holiday in this property. It was warm, clean and comfortable with the bonus of a wild area and river Nethy at the bottom of the garden (accessed over a stye). Space for 3 cars on the driveway and a beautiful walk to the shop, community centre and cafe. We visited the local church and everyone was very welcoming, the Osprey centre staff were amazing and the Grantown-on-Spey railway centre very nicely set up. The village has a mobile fish and chip van on Mondays and the above railway carriage restaurant provides evening meals. I would recommend this property and area to anyone and hope to return.

We booked the house for our annual family get together. The house was just as described, spacious throughout. The sun room, with magnificent views to the nearby hills, was the favourite place to relax, and to try to spot deer and hedgehogs running around the garden. The garden was ideal for letting the dog have a run, although there were plenty of other great walks nearby too. The games room in the garage was also very popular. Plenty of places nearby to visit (distilleries, Highland Wildlife Park, Cawdor Castle, etc) A week wasn't really long enough!

Lovely, well equipped house in a peaceful location.
We really enjoyed staying in the house. It was beautifully quiet being on the edge of the village. It was a pleasant one mile bike ride to the shop. The house is very spacious and comfortable. It is an excellent base for cycling in the area.

Modern house in a lovely cul de sac! Spent Hogmanay and new year here, loved the torch lit procession through the village which started just a stones throw from the house. Lots and lots of great walks on the doorstep, and the garden gave the kids plenty of room to run around! A very chilled five days was had by all in a very comfortable house! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - three generations of us, Blazing heatwave but cool areas in and around the house. The kids rejoiced in the large chargeabout garden, with a very convenient sprinkler. Lovely little village, and an excellent walk to the shops along the riverside (with its own mini-beach!) The house is superbly appointed - even with a games room-. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need and we envied the very large dining table. Altogether a very satisfactory & satisfying week's holiday.

We had a great stay - lovely house in peaceful place. Delightful river at end of the garden. Plenty of space and great Sun room. Needs to include key safe code in confirmation details as reliant on neighbour being in next door to collect key. Close to Nethy village.
