For 5 years I was planning to climb this Glacier in the Austrian Alps. It has a special meaning for me since it was my dad's dream to climb it, and due to his Dementia he can no longer do this. Last year I the weather gods finally allowed me to climb the 3666m Glacier - it took 2 days, and a 3am start on the final day. The final push required Crampons and roping up with others. The final 100m lead over a ridge that drops steeply to each side, but the clouds were obscuring it. Finally at the top we were able to catch this tiny glimpse of the ridge as the clouds lifted for only seconds. I am still in awe of this moment, the day and these majestic mountains.

"Het was een gezellig, proper,f functioneel huisje,De ligging rustig en alles dichtbij.Alleen spijtig dat ze geen toeristenkaart kan aanbieden.De liften en de accommodatie zijn nog al prijzig .De omging is zeer mooi :)"

An der Rezeption wurden wir sehr nett von der Dame empfangen. Gebucht hatten wir mit 2 Familien und mehreren Kindern. Das Haus war sehr sauber und mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Die Sauna war ebenfalls ein super Pluspunkt. Die Umgebung gibt für alle viel zum entdecken und erkunden her."
