"The house is not as clean as the pictures posted. Stains on the walls, the carpet on the stairs and upper level of the house is stained and very dirty. The air vents are rusted and gross, Issues with the internet multiple times, the gas was turned off at the property. The owner refused to pay the bill, so we were without heat when temps were in the 50s for the rest of our stay. The owner is being sued for operating a VRBO by the neighborhood HOA. We received an eviction notice that was court...

"I’ve been to their home twice now. They provide every essential you need. It’s quiet and peaceful. They provide board games to entertain the family. I recommend the hot tub at night, I’m pretty sure you can see every star in the sky. Even the power plant across the field provides a cool landscape."

"This property is all about the lake front location. Very relaxing to sit on the deck and watch the geese/ducks/turtles. House is well stocked and is suited for 2 families, with living areas and bathrooms on the main and lower levels. A great location for relaxation."

"First i want to say the house was spacious enough for all of us. The house was not very clean and the vents must've been dirty because we all got sick with colds and congestion the next day. The fenced in backyard is basically jst the pool and a little space for the grill. We could not go out there because of the way the pool is covered and not blocked off so the kids or even adults may have fallen on the tarp which had previous holes and fallen in the pool which still had water in it. "Perfect little place to stay when you are on the move! Quiet, clean and suited our needs perfectly. Little fridge, little microwave and one cup coffee maker for convenience since we were on the go and taking our meals out. Clean and comfy and hostess and host were friendly and brought local sweet treats to enjoy. Definitely would stay with them again...suited our needs perfectly! Beautiful country setting and very relaxing!"

"Four of us stayed in the Whitestone Place house for 5 days. It was perfect for us, including location. We loved the neighborhood and the big back yard that had a nice sitting area and fire pit. We walked every day around the interesting neighborhood. And it was walking distance to the cute downtown area. We were in the area visiting family in O’Fallon and doing lots of activities around St. Louis. The house itself it old, but has been nicely updated, and we enjoyed the character and quaintness...
