This hotel is in a great location in a quieter area of the French Quarter.
Unfortunately the inside noise level due to thin walls/doors between adjoining rooms and bare vinyl floors was disturbing. I could hear snoring, conversations. And more from the adjacent room.
The pool is lovely and clean.
The furnishings are minimal, too few for comfort for a long stay. I do not mind that they were vintage and a bit beat up. But…. No full length mirror, no dresser or chest of drawers. A larger nighstand was the stand-in, and its surface was covered by the coffee pot and ice bucket. The mini fridge was placed on the floor.
The room needed a deeper cleaning (wipe down of surfaces and wall trim, and floor mopping) prior to check in.
I did not expect luxury for the price, but I did expect better than this. Too bad. It’s an interesting historic building.
Ok for a night or two. I won’t go back for a weeklong stay,
