I booked a room for my partners birthday. I was looking forward to spending the day in the pool, and spending some time at the bar. I specifically called the day before to assure that both amenities were open and the staff told me yes. However when I got there it was an entire different story, first our room wasn’t clean enough. The bed sheets had hair on them almost like someone shaved right on top of them. And secondly the pool and bar were closed. Earlier in the morning they were some drizzles however the rain completely stopped by 12PM, my check in time was 1pm and I was told the pool was completely closed as well as the bar. Next day for check out, I expressed my concern to front desk and they took down my info, stating that I’ll be getting a call or email with a Comp day pass for the pool for the inconvenience. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I still haven’t received anything

The lobby and pool were great! The atmosphere and vibes were on point. However, the rooms were not worth the money we paid. The room was set to 85 degrees when we checked in and it took about 4 hours to get to 75. Each time our room was serviced, we would come back and the AC would be set to 85 again. We had to have someone come take a look at it to make sure it wasn't on a schedule and they assured us it wasn't but it was constantly moving up.

I would not return. I arrived and was given a room on the 7th floor. The 8th floor was a nightclub. The main light in the room did not work. The only lamp was unplugged The phone did not work. When I complained a maintenance man came 45 min later and fixed nothing. The upstairs club had loud disco music heard loudly in my room past 2AM . The bed was very soft . I changed rooms. The new room on 4th floor lacked amenities as did the first room. No coffee, no do not disturb sign, no drinking cup or glass.

The decor is very nice however, the staff by the pool is terrible. The chairs by the pool are $80 even if you are a guest at the hotel. The pool area is overly crowded and the pool staff is very rude therefore I won’t be recommending this hotel to anyone.

The daily pool hours are 10-6 which makes it unavailable for anyone with a busy day out of the hotel. When open on the weekend it was literally filled with people partying to the point where it was standing room only and actually swimming would have been impossible. Many of the people partying were not staying in the hotel. The maid left the door to the balcony in my room open each day after entering -- letting in flies and letting out AC (it was very hot outside). Door to my room was so stiff that it was hard to open and close.

BAD POOL
The hotel was ok however, there is no where to sit by the pool. You pay $300 for 1 night and you cant be comfortable by the pool and you pay a $57 resort fee. This is unacceptable!
